who is still doing micro niche sites?

I quit in 2010 and now have begun doing micro niche sites again since a few weeks ago some of my old MFA sites all of a sudden started popping up in the serps. My payday loans info sites went from 5-30 visitors per day now has 200-350 visitors per day. Have seriously no clue why cuz i changed zero on those sites in a decade as i have since used them as my own pbn network

So curious: who is still doing micro niche sites?

Search engines are giving more power to the smaller sites and pushing big ones down (in some niches). Looks like your niche & website is like that. (probably because of the informational nature)

In general, micro niche sites still work apparently. I have 2 still doing fine

Yes, micro niche do work better now. Create valuable content with right keyword.

If you have clear idea and constant work, you can get success in it.

You were lucky, as you would have posted more natural informational content, as per search engines update they gave more power to the smaller sites which are informational nature and that would the main reason

Found a niche that is only specified for a region in one country. Built a website few years ago and still it's still functioning well. It was gently profitable last year. After the coronavirus hit, I see progress in it. So yes... Never give up micro niches

But the funny thing was: 2009 till 2015 slowly declining traffic after the hard panda hit to these sites and all of a sudden in 2015 full disappeared to get traffic back in 2018 and now all of a sudden seeing traffic days that are about 10x of the months earlier. Did read about a update in may so that have given life back to these sites. Basically what i was wondering if i was alone or not. The payday loans info site has now adsense on it back on, and is getting average just under 2% CTR so its not as spamy as before and average CPC is $1.50. Nothing compared to a decade ago..... That was $5-15 CPC. But all in all better than nothing. But definitely gonna resurrect old MFA sites which i since have 301 redirected to other sites.

Btw, what i would like to add: the websites that have been popping up are sites with 40k to 150k (and also one site with 220k) unique words websites. Basically a decade ago these sites were mass revenue generating sites and i was reinvesting a great amount of it each month. the payday loans info site has 80k unique words. Thus you can understand when they lost most of traffic they were excellent pbn sites for my local seo clients

Google seems to have chosen to reward micro niches, as everyone serving those niches seems to be ranking up. Or at least the good ones are.
If there ever was a time to dive back into those waters, then that time would be now.

so yes. and yes i am gonna pump out many more micro niche sites (basically old micro niche sites i repurposed for other things or even let expire, i will rebuy the old domains cuz almost no one buys EMDs nowadays) and my goal for the end of July is 10 extra micro niche sites and August 30 extra sites. Goal is by the end of the year to be at my old position of 100 micro niche sites.

Back then i had in total 100 micro niche sites that were averaging 5 euros a site a day in profit, so yes that was a nice period. Also 5 euros a day averaging per site is not that difficult i would presume now as well. Some sites will do on average better than others and if average site makes 150 pm is not that great amount but if you scale it, it is an amazing income source

Hi mate. What's the work you have to manage 100 blogs?
I'm with you: it's possible to have a site earning 5 a day. But I don't know if I want to scale to 100 websites
