Reputation Management - Who do you recommend?

I have someone who is my personal friend who had a few stories on google that are showing up from news presses. We need to bury the articles in google 2nd page. We will start with 1 client and do the others after. Please also have references of works you did.

Reputation management is a very specialized field. I would suggest having a call with someone to make sure you understand what they plan to do, how they plan to do it and your expectations.

If they can't explain what they will do and claim to have "secret sauce" or a "proprietary method" that they can't explain, run away.

First you need to know what is the reason its showing up in top, find those keywords, and we need to publish some good quality content regarding that, make some few fake blogs around that keywords.

Few more options there to push those articles to 2nd place.

He did say: his personal friend and press releases which means: the reason this is showing on 2nd page of google is his friend’s name there and this is most probably the KWs!
Anyway: you have to be very careful who you hire to fix this issue. You said press releases (PR) and if these PR are from powerful sites like news or sites that google trust then you need to do tons of work to bury the PRs. Why is that? There is no way for you to delete them, the only way is to bury them, but the issue is, the sites they are on are powerful and hard to beat, it’s not like you do some stupid articles and push them to be 2nd page or google, even if you do so they will be along on same page with the PRs in question! And that’s why I said be very careful on your strategy and who you hire to do this tough job.
You have to write tons of articles here and there, may be 50-100 and you have to to optimize EACH one of them to pump up to 1st, 2nd .. pages of google, or on top of the PRs, EACH article will need tons of work, backlinks and so on.
I don’t work with reputation management but I have had my share of some bad press on some friends, at that time I didn’t have the experience I have now and I thought I could help them by hiring someone and pay him $100 and will call it a day. It did t work that way.
