My website is ranking organically on the first page for several keywords. Service+city. However my GMB does not show up in the local map section at all. If I zoom in towards my business address and click search this area only. My business comes up for the search terms.

Any advice on getting my GMB to show up in the maps with out zooming in? I'm not talking top 3 etc yet.

Thanks in advance

Review spam over the course of two months. 1 review every 2 days. Add products, posts, offers.
Dont neg competition. Add seo heavy content.

Try getting some citations for your GMB and start posting on your GMB regularly.

I find that having an active GMB (posting, images, events, etc.) + getting reviews gets you up there. It did for my wife's business.

I’ve heard people suggest this before. Do you need an address on GMB for this to work, or does it work with service area businesses as well?
Everything, just go on maps click share, get url and share. You will rank.

I dont know how competitive niche and town you are in, but i think the biggest ranking factor may be time, i did fill in everything, added photos, got loads of citations, good website that were ranking top of that keyword+city in search.

But my gmb was on second page, i kinda forgot about it and just updated with some post every now and then.

A year later im ranking 1st for GMB on nearly all keywords. Time is huge.

Edit: i see you werent talking about top 3, but i still stand on the notion of ranking with time.

is there article that illustrate this further? Looking to get more info on how to do it. Also do driving directions help?
Also you can use map cid link of your GMB to share it. If possible try to embed the maps with do follow links to your website and maps in it

Your map get data from organic search. Save and share your business by maps app.
