The best i can advise you is to take some courses on blogging for example Udemy courses(you can find lots of courses for free) so you can have a proper idea about blogging before you start.

I'd say make your research well and find something your online traffic from your geographically area wants and focus on that, but you want to be in the news , gossip you need money

Am a Nigerian it's a new blog, I have 4k views from 13th of last month to 7th of this month thanks to Twitter and Facebook but currently the views are dropping, I have 51 post, mainly written by me thou it's a news blog nothing will be unique except the write up which I do my self
