Interesting. I had the same thoughts too. I did not find any similar tools other than xrumer.
I created a program (or I should call them a collection of scripts) to aid in creation of profiles and updating of signatures, together with a collection of firefox add-ons. The only thing that cannot be automated right now is the Captcha/nospam field. There are various services out there that solves captcha but there is a $$ charge to them. Without full automation, my speed is now 60+ profiles / hr, including signature update. My conclusion:
- If you are only doing for a limited set of profiles or sites, then write a script
- If you are looking at creating a huge number of profiles, and you are doing these for a large number of sites, then maybe you should consider and learn xrumer.
