Beginners question about paid Wordpress themes

Please explain me what's the point to buy paid Wordpress themes

Let's say I buy paid theme

But when I installed my theme I still have to start my page from scratch most of the time by using page builder

So please tell me what's the point to buy paid theme if you are using page builder for your website creation?

Some paid themes are shit. Some are good. For example GP Premium or Astra Pro are well optimized, has lots of settings and easy to build even with WP blocks, plus there are layouts/designs libraries.

So I guess it depends on theme.

What do you think, if I need a just simple website for selling one digital product, Astra theme with Elementor page builder and EDD plugin would be a good option?

Paid themes are better optimized for use and queries, there are also paid themes with a more interesting design. But you need to look carefully, there are paid topics worse than free ones.

If you have a good page builder like Divi you don't really need a premium theme. It comes with plenty of theme options and page templates.

I wouldn't bother with a paid theme. A page builder seems to be the way to go these days and adds a lot of flexibility. You can find downloads for Elementor on this forum.

It highly depends on what paid themes are you referring because, there are themes that have been bought over 10,000+ times with 4.5/5+ rating so, I am guessing those are pretty good themes.

Secondly, yeah, if you know your way around Elementor and have access to Elementor pro and other paid addons you can just install the Hello theme and build pretty much anything you want.

Or, get a high-rated multi-purpose theme with a build-in page builder and be done!

It´s just a matter to compare based on what paid theme you´re actually referring to and how skill you really are with Elementor or any page builder on the market.

Well, a paid premium theme saves you time: if you find one with the design you want, you just import the demo data, and take out the sections you don't want, add those you want.
