Building site, need help with SEO PLEASE!!!

Hello,

1. I need to de-index some of my pages so they won't be found via google search. How do I do that?
I'm using a bimber theme for wp if that matters.... and the plugin is Quize for quizzes.

2. How do I put a GIF as a clickable post? I click the GIF and it directs me to the quiz.

I have zero experience with WP or SEO or site builing of any sort so the questions may seem very stupid.

1. You need to mark your pages as noindex - google can crawl that page, but cannot show it in results. You can also mark it as nofollow, so it won't crawl links on that page.

If you want to fully block these pages for crawlers use robot.txt or .htaccess file.

If you want to set a certain page as no-index you can either do it from any seo plugin or just request to remove that page from search from your Google search console account.

To make a gif as clickable..
Insert the link of the destination on the gif. You can use the keyboard shortcut (control+ K) once you select the gif with your cursor.

I just help you with the first point.
1. The answer is, use robots to block robots crawl and use noindex tag to de-index the specific page from index.
you can also use SEO plugin called Yoast SEO to de-index the page you want.
