I have no intention of taking risks. I was just wondering if these backlinks were getting instant penalties.
That type of hidden backlink trickes the user's eyes, but normally scores in places like Ahref and Majestic. I wonder if Google is smarter.

Google is smart enough. Not recommended in my opinion.

Google crawls and sooner or later it penalizes such sites, Cloakers maybe helping him but not for very long.

Some sites stay up like that for months. I recently found a bunch of them doing it, also keyword stuffing with the same method.

A bunch of clickfunnels relate keywords serve results like that.

They'll eventually dissappear but they serve their purpose.
