Depends, if you half ass then you'll spend weeks and month. If you take control and do the right thing, it can take a couple of days. When I started in IM I made 300euros in the first few days and in a week I was making the equivalent of my country's minimum wage.

If you fuck around and throw links around hoping for the best, its going to take a while.

who knows.. for me in 17 y.o. from 0 per whole life to $200 per day it took one year.. but it was without this forum.. so I think the correct answer is: at least 4-5 months. Unless someone share with you profitable bunch

Money yes, easily..not even close. News you don't want to here but it's the reality. IM is not easy and takes quite some time to make money with. So if you looking for something short term for you family, this is not it.

There are two ways to go about it; you'd either spend time or spend money to achieve some degree of success. A person who comes online looking for ways to earn money after losing his job has neither if he has no savings. It is extremely unlikely for you to provide for your family immediately being new at something unless your offline skills are relevant online. Else, you can try helping a foreigner do translation for ads but direct translation won't help. You'd need to know what kind of copy sells locally.

Which ever way, I advice you learn how to make websites using wordpress and learning HTML, php & CSS in the process.
