This is frankly discouraging. I need help please.

@Ramgiggs
What did your keyword report look like, where the questions any good?

The report looks good except there aren't metrics for many of the keywords as you go down list (probably they are just not available I guess).

A lot to write now.. and I'm currently at it.

Thanks very much for directing me to the thread as it was very helpful.

I feel your pain... (I suck at inspiring, but I'll try)
I used to be emotionally sensitive when it comes to these things (stats and results mainly)... I'm generally impatient for results and it's embarrassing.

But I learned that it's better to get distracted from the stats, rather than talking about how nothing is working!

From what I've gathered in this post, you have 6 articles. You have 6 chances to rank. You should distract yourself from this negative emotion

You started publishing on May 19th with a decent domain age...

With the current stats on your GSC, you're only going to move forward.

I think your traffic is pretty great especially when you barely started publishing! last month.

My lame advice?
  • Write more content (proper keywords, quality, and pace yourself)
  • Lost motivation can be gained again... read successful journeys, watch a motivational movie/video, etc.
  • Don't refresh the stats page on GSC every hour.
  • Find ways to distract yourself from negative thinking...
.... because SEO is a long-term game... it takes patient... and waiting can make a person overthink negative thoughts. Distract yourself!

Does it take you 1 week to write an article? Keep writing. It took me a month to write my first article. It felt impossible to push out content EVERY DAY.
  • Month turns to weeks per article
  • Weeks turn to days per article
  • and... days turn to hours per article
You'll get better and I wish you the best of luck on your journey!

Thanks very much. You spoke right to my reality . You're inspiring!

As the others have said, in Google’s eyes you’re in the kindergarten stage. Just relax, keep working on your site, and it will eventually surface.
Unfortunately, it’s impossible to predict when exactly that will happen. For some, it occurs gradually, for others almost overnight. Only one thing is certain, though: if you do nothing, nothing will change.
So, don’t give up, stick to the big three (content, SEO, backlinks), be patient, and your hard work will pay off in time.

Over the years Google has been giving better rankings to established, quality authority sites. As long as you keep doing what you're doing, you should see improvements! It might be a slow process, but it'll happen!
