What do you use to track your Virtual Assistant

I am gonna hire a few VAs to do day to day SEO tasks. The work is not one single process, but generally whatever I can outsource. So its gonna be different work every few days. I have to decide if I need to track them and If I gonna do, what to use.

What do you use to track your VAs?

I follow them around and occasionally barge in their houses. No VA of mine is gonna masturbate on the job.

What do you use to track your VAs?

If new, I check about every hour where they’ve reached. It’s not to micromanage them, but to know if they’re able to do it at a good pace, and are able to do it correctly.

Day 1: Check after 1 hour, then 1 hour. If good or better than expected, check after 2 hours. If good or better than expected check after 3 hours.

Day 2: If Day 1 was good, check after 1 hour, then 3 hours, then at Hour 8.

After that you can just check once or twice a day or have them update a spreadsheet that you can check at any time.

Day 1 and 2 I usually ask to send everything they’ve completed so far or to share their screen on Skype.

After that just end of the day.

Or you can hire a Manager to make sure all your VAs do their work and he can report to you.

I recently came across this gem that is super easy to use. It's a time tracker and timesheet app that has a great interface and is free - no matter how many users or projects you have.

Timedoctor is good for this. you have them install it on their system and power it when working on your projects.

Or you can hire a Manager to make sure all your VAs do their work and he can report to you.

This is probably the best suggestion. I've personally used Timerdoctor, but never really liked it but that was years ago.

I got my sniper man(Which is also a VA) watching them outside their houses.

If he cannot handle, then i just ask them every now and then to send some of their work LOL

thx for the info, checked them out, for the features I require like activity level tracking and url info, it is actually expensive than hubstaff which I get at $7 per user whereas its at $8. If somebody don't require those features, its cheaper.

I do the same thing, just then I need to watch the sniper man VA too.. So I got another sniper VA to watch the first one etc...
My VA budget is really through the roof.

I got another tracker a few days back which is free and has activity and URL tracking option. But now I didn't figure it out which one it was. Didn't bookmarked it anywhere. I will let you know if I found it.

I use a tracker app on their phone and a shock collar so if they work slower they get a small jolt
