Hey guys,
So, I made this tube site 2 years ago when I simply didn't know a dime about SEO or anything related SEO.

I aggressively import and embedded around 10K+ videos from major tube sites.

In these years, I learned a bit about how should properly write title, tags, description etc, about image alt text, proper interlink related posts and a few things or two.

Now, 2 days ago, I completely changed my site's structure, deleted few thousand videos as they are low quality, changed the title and slug of few thousand videos as they are not appropriate, changed category and used proper tags.

This creates lots of redirection as I'm using Yoast premium.

So, my question is should I re-submit my sitemap to BigG or just let it be as it now.

Your opinion about this please.

Thanks in advance.

Anyone wants to help with anything useful..??

The site already has age which is a good sign for google
Are you getting any traffic?

Thanks for the reply.
Mostly direct traffic from Reddit and Twitter upload. 100-150UV/day organic.
The reason for this low organic traffic is I didn't build that many links in these years. But I want to build it/buy it now. Before that, I want to know the above question.

I wouldn't resubmit, i'd just let google figure out itself, but that's because I don't like submitting my footprint of all my sites to google.
I don't think there would be any harm, if you have webmasters and you only have a few sites. Resubmit would make things quicker.

I only have this site.

Yeah, this is what I thought too. But I wasn't sure about it.

And what about all those redirects created by Yoast. Should I delete those redirects before re-submit the sitemap..??

ah, i don't use Yoast, do you mean it automatically creates a 301 from the previous link to the new link?

Exactly.
Whenever I change the slug of any post, it automatically creates a redirect from previous to current url.
So, as I'm re-submitting the sitemap, isn't be a wise step to remove those re-directs first..??

ah ok, yeah remove them, since you didn't build any links to those pages, it wont matter

Its better to submit sitemap in the webmaster, google will have better understanding of your entire content.

As you are getting most of your teaffic from social media so i will keep the 301 to home page or similar page plugin, this is just for the users to not see a 404 page.
