Best Performance Plugin for WordPress

I am formally opening the debate about the best performance plugin for WordPress.

What has worked for you?

Using the Litespeed Cache plugin in conjunction with Litespeed web server is blazing fast for me.

Wp Rocket and Auto optimise should work, W3 total cache is technical and not all can use it.

WP Rocket (paid) and Auto Optimise (free) are my picks - perfmatters also a good one that can add to either of these.

But if you could properly configure it..Would it be better than WP Rocket?

Let´s assume for the sake of argument we´re just comparing which of those plugins have the biggest impact on a site's overall performance.

And if you would use a combination of them for maximum result.

I have been suggested wp Rocket by all even then but you can only try and tets it

I cannot think of a single person who would recommend using two caching plugins on a single WP site. I have used WP Rocket, W3TC, WP Super Cache, Litespeed Cache, and tbh, I liked Litespeed cache on an Openlitespeed server (DO droplet) better than any other plugin. WP super cache is also good if you have a lot of posts on your website as it creates static pages. W3TC & Litespeed cache have so many options that you can configure. I think WP Rocket is just overhyped, although it provides a lot of tweaking options. The truth is there's only so much a caching plugin can do on its own. I had Memcached and Redis installed on the Openlitespeed server, maybe it's part of the reason for increased performance.

I cannot think of a single person who would recommend using two caching plugins on a single WP site.

When I mention a potential combination of 2 performance plugin I didn´t mean to use the same features on both.

But I´ve heard people use 2 plugins at the same time to complement each other like compensating the weakness of one with the strengths of the other.

Wp rocket is excellent for me, but Litespeed is good too. I can't see it on the list. xd

W3 Total Cache as you can use a lot of different caching methods.

If you enable HTTP/2 for the site, Autoptimize will be not that much great.

I'm a huge fan of both Comet Cache and Hummingbird, both do such a good job at caching and keeping site speed down

Always used WP Rocket and Autoptimize, they seem to do the work easily and quickly. Using other plugins usually provided poor results or not as close as these 2 plugins.

There are a lot of options available around the internet when it comes to wordpress plugins. But in my opinion WP Rocket and autoptimize are great plugins to start with. They have simple and easy UI which makes it easy to understand better and use it.
