I have tried pinterest first time for 40 days in feb-march 2020. I got 100K impressions in my account but link clicks were only 412. My main motive was to get traffic on a instragram page that time.

I posted around 1200 pins in which 20% were my pine and fest were repins.

So my Q is does pinterest shows link clicks only for our pins only or for repins too ?

Now coming to your ahref tip. I will try your method for sure and will see if it works for me.

Just look at something like google trends to see what's trendy and what people are looking for. That translates to other sites as it's a trend and people tend to search on other platforms.

My strategy is pretty simple. I look to see the wording the pin I am replicating used, and then I create something very very similar. I have played around with hashtags, but I am not convinced they do much. The big thing is to not come across as if you are selling something, they hate that.

Basically, if a pin was shared and liked a lot, it must have done something right, so you are going to use the same title, and similar or the same description. Simply adjusting to fit your page/site.
