You can place the links generated by Referer Guardian on any kind website and route the traffic through a white hat WordPress blog to show the white hat WordPress blog as the referer.

It would show the referer of the site that you installed the plugin on. As of right now, Ref Guardian only cloaks, it doesn't blank. Blanking is damn near impossible with some browsers, so we opted not to add that feature until we do more research.

Thanks for the kind words, digitalpower. We're in the process of completely reprogramming Forum Generator, so any sort of package deal for all three would have to wait until that rewrite is finished. I'll think about a package deal for Referer Guardian/WP Guardian. WP Guardian customers received a 50% discount on Referer Guardian at launch.

I've had mixed success with this using p202. The first key would be to make sure that you have cloaking turned off, because if a blank referer is sent to the "middle" page, RefGuard will just drop out to the post that was originally linked to. There is also the issue of passing on other parameters if you're using p202 to pass on, say, subids or keywords. All GET parameters are currently stripped so that the referer looks like a "clean" URL. If you have any more p202 specific questions, feel free to send me a PM and I'll do some tests for you.

The links look like this:
http://whitehatsite.com/post-name/?fwd=1

You can pretty much control everything except the ?fwd=1 parameter using WP's built-in permalink structure tools. The only part that RG relies on is the ?fwd=1 parameter. In a future version, I could add the ability to change what that parameter is, but I was going for something pretty much innocuous.

Similar concept, but Referer Guardian doesn't require you to change any code, can redirect based on the geographical location of the user, automatically rotates links, and doesn't leak the referer anywhere near as often.

Can you tell me how to do this? Because i tried using the link created as http://mydomain.com/?fwd=1 and i was redirected back to the whitehat site.

Also, while this is great is there something you can add that will show us exactly what page, as in my case, multiple landing pages referred though the whitehat site, an option to see where the traffic actually came from?

I have about 10 different landing pages. If i refer all the links though the whitehat site how can i determine which page that click came from?

Maybe a log file or an option to view those clicks.

Are you trying to go to the link directly? If so, it won't work, because a type-in contains no referer. You have to place it as a link somewhere and click on it.

If i have 200 landing pages all with link via the whitehat wordpress site how can i determine which landing page is producing all my sales?

In my dashboard at the merchant i only see my whitehat domain but it doesnt tell me which page produced the sale.

I haven't checked, but you may be able to use WordPress' stats counter to see how much traffic is coming to each page. My guess is that it won't work. Google Analytics, Clicky, etc won't help because Referer Guardian fires before the header.

I'll put together some sort of stats interface for the next version.
