Which are more important and safe?
Why not use both?
Also, what do you mean by a high DA site?
Is it a site with a high DA but still relevant to your site?
If that´s the case then, getting a high DA backlink from it will outweigh a niche one (for now).
I mean, I´ve haven´t run or seen any case study stating one is better over the other but, from a more personal and subjective approach, I think High DA backlinks are better in the short term but niche related backlinks are better in the long term.
All Google´s core algorithm updates in the past few years have been clear. RELEVANCE IS A MAJOR RANKING FACTOR!!
And even tho links are as well and, therefore, getting a backlink from a relevant but general high DA site will outweigh a smaller but still authoritative (and far more relevant) site.
Eventually, I believe this will change.
But, again, there´s no reason why you can´t use both.
As others have stated, getting a backlink from a high DA site within your niche will be a hell lot more powerful but, OP didn´t state that above. I am guessing, he means getting a backlink from a general but high DA site. Thanks a lot for sharing the most important information![]()
I would suggest both are important backlinks for your site . But rather than going for high da backlinks you should only focus on niche backlinks after that you can go for high backlinks .
If you do both backlinks properly and in a nice manner then both backlinks will be safe.
But don't go for spammy backlinks .
Thanks!Start with niche links, and add some da links later on or mix them up too even thsts fine
Yeah, I can do both. I don't know where to start. Why not use both?

Both links are effective and niche relevant links give more benefit. You can try for both links, focus on the relevant link first and then move to high DA and add it naturally.
Building on high DA sites from the same niche is much effective.
If it is about safety I will go for niche + authority, instead of niche VS authority
Okay, Thank you.It has to be from niche relevant high DA site.
No use if you miss any one criteria.

How many backlinks, should I make per day or week? Both, as you need relevant and authority.
Like go for natural backlinks like guest post, PBN, web 2.0. Do in a proper manner means don't use scrapped content or duplicate and don't go spammy backlinks. Can you define "do both backlinks properly and in a nice manner"?
I mean how can I do backlinks properly?
There is no limit. Don't focus on the number of links, focus on the quality of backlinks. How many backlinks, should I make per day or week?
