[Journey] Another Authority Blog Story

I recently sold one of my websites and now I have some free time to start another project.

The monetization plan, for now, are ads and affiliate/cpa offers, while it's an evergreen niche with millions of product on amazon i don't have any plan to use them for now, i have already other projects with amazon and i want to play with other sources of income.

All the contents will be written by me at the beginning, usually, I always prefer to save money where i can so all the easiest content we'll be mine while i'll outsource topics that i can't write or that take too much time. (time=$$)

Niche = Evergreen, i literally scrolled some cpa offers and choose a niche

Seo = I will do everything my self and start only with free links for now

Budget, it will depend if i see positive progress. Most of the tools that will be used are shared with other projects that i have:
Expense for now:
.ORG domain =registration fee I didn't want to start with a virgin domain and purchased a expired/deleted domain with some links of my niche, just picked the first one I liked and slightly brandable.
Hosting = null it's shared with my other projects
Theme/plugin = null I'm currently using @Festinger plan with all the other project

What have I done:
Purchased domain

First Goal: 100 pageviews/day

I should have already everything i need

UPDATE
Set the whole website up (plugin, theme, analytics)
Keyword research, i have already hundreds of topics to write. All of them are info keywords to start filling the website
Created different social profiles to automatically publish every post

The website is not perfect at all but at the beginning is enough without wasting too much time

UPDATE

- Added 6 articles between 500-1100 words. I didn't focus too much on the total words, i just checked the average words of the ranking pages, and just went with the flow.
- All the post are not 100% optimized, i want to see where they will rank before optimizing further
- Total words = 6095

Did you create social network to share every new post? Are you starting with a new domain or expired? For news website you need a different strategy, it's not the same as a normal website.

UPDATE
- Added 3 articles 1700, 944 and 815 words
- I have a strange issue in the console where it's showing every URL already indexed even if got published 2 minutes before
- fixed some issue
- Total words = 8,860
For some reason, the 6 articles started already ranking and it's not even 24 hours from when i created them, the only reason can be from the old links but that's definitely strange

- I write myself with some "help" but will outsource hard topics. Now I'm literally writing articles likes "how to make a pizza" where even a dog can write about it
- I'm only using ahref and manually looking at the top 10, in my niche most of the competitors are 15-20 years old authority monster but they are not exactly targeting every keyword and only rankings with their domain authority

what the KD on ahref when you target keywords and search volume.

Everything below 15 is good for me but i always doublecheck the top 10 if they are exactly targetting the keywords and what is raking. I don't look at search volume at all, every tool has different numbers. Everything above 10 monthly searches is fine in my eyes

Thanks for the reply. So you basically target low search volume keywords to rank fast. If So, you need to write a lot of article to reach 100 UV a day.

Ahref volume like other tools is not perfect. You can have 1000 visits or more from a 100/month keyword.

I read about KGR method when it came out, it was something like very low search volume and small number of intitle results right? When i check the top 10 full of authority monster I'm doing something similar, if half of the results are not targeting exactly my keywords I'll go for it

Google is indexing all post pretty fast

- Added one article 2,055 words
Total words: 15,976, 15 posts
- In less than 24 hours one of the articles started ranking and it's currently at position 31, I took some time to optimize further the article, let's see how far can I go
- Doing more research

Yes = pick a new domain with 0 history you will lose time
No = pick an expired time with history to save time
