To begin, I would like to provide some background on what brought me to where I am.
I am 21 years old & I have been doing Internet Marketing full time since 2013. I have built multiple companies in the past, specifically in Social Media Marketing. However I always failed for one reason. I am a compulsive gambler. I checked into rehab in Hawaii on January 2nd of this year for a 90 day treatment program. My addiction had gotten to the point where I had gambled away over half a million in two years.
After having been in Hawaii for 3 months I decided to relocate here permanently. When I left rehab, I moved in with a girl I had met in rehab (believe me I know it was not a smart decision) She ended up relapsing on Heroin, and I decided to try it, as well as myself relapsing with Gambling. I got out of that relationship and moved out from with her. And I have been clean since, I had a small relapse yesterday gambling but I caught myself soon enough and have family, friends, and a good support group through AA. My current sobriety date: 6/10/2020
I was able to get connected with a fellow internet marketer here in Hawaii who runs a Digital Marketing Agency doing Web Design, SEO, and PPC Management. I was able to bring my experience with Social Media Marketing and Instagram Management to the table. Having been working out of his office for the past month we have really been able to put our heads together to come up with a really awesome project.
Tomorrow we launch a large scale project. Using a custom built software we are able to aggregate content for social media by pulling from websites RSS feeds, that are all categorized via their Niche. We are then able to connect the following social media platforms and post across all of them automatically:
Facebook
Twitter
LinkedIn
Google My Business
Tumblr
Reddit
We are able to create Niche specific campaigns, and group businesses of the same type together and recycle content that is not specific to each business across all of the different customers, set up so that no customers in the same niche post the same content close to each other.
To get leads, we have built a few local style directory sites, and then have called local businesses offering them a post on our website for free, confirming we have their correct business details (all scraped from Google) and getting the best email to reach them to send them a link to their listing. We have then added them to an email list, where we send out helpful tips and tricks to help their business during the Pandemic.
One of our websites is specifically targeted at restaurants. These are our first target customers. We have setup a funnel offering 30 days of free social media content, every restaurant will receive the same CSV containing all of the Social Media Content. After going through the first stage they are taken to a page offering them 15 days of free managed posting, with no credit card required. They are able to then schedule a Zoom Meeting with myself to go over their business details and onboard them. Following the 15 day free trial we will then be signing those who wish to continue up at $399 per month. We feel this is a great foot in the door product, to then extend offers for IG Management, PPC, Retargeting Ads, Web Design, and SEO.
Our email list currently has a 43% open rate, as we have been building a relationship with these business owners, and are on a first name basis with close to 500 local businesses.
My Journey is two fold. One, to stay clean, sober, and free from gambling. Secondly, to build up a sustainable income slowly building back up to 6 figures and beyond, the highest monthly income I have achieved previously was $30k, my goal by the end of the year is to hopefully be at around half of that. I want to make this post to keep myself accountable regarding my goals.
