Changing Home Page Design

Hey guys!

I'm looking to change 2-3 elements of my home page.

How can I do so without affecting our already existing rankings?

We may need to remove 2-300 words of content.

What is the best way to go about this?

hmm. Maybe try to tweak the experience rather than redesign then.

remember people are essentially ending up there because of your current content.

drastically changing it is likely to affect your rank, especially if you remove that much content.

Id suggest making better use of headings and calls to action giving people the opportunity to go straight to the conversion if they wish, but still keeping the content for those who want to digest more info.

Would you suggest I keep the content but remove it further down the page and focus conversions close to or above the fold?
