Tips On Getting Friend Requests Fast On Facebook?

I did some searching in the Facebook forum pretty seriously but haven't found any good resources about this yet (anyone who knows of some threads, please feel free to post here).

So, I have created my Facebook account, confirmed an e-mail address to it, put up some photos, filled out the profile and now I need friends.

Does anyone have any tips on how to get a large number of friends quickly?

Some ideas I was thinking of...

1) Using a Facebook friend adder (I would rather do something that have people try to friend me rather than me trying to friend people)

2) Joining groups (I tried this a little and posted a message on the wall of the group but I haven't been seeing any real results with this yet, does anyone have any information on how to do this properly?)

Are there any other ideas you can think of? Thanks for any help!

Try searching in facebook 'add me' 'mafia wars add me' you'll find plenty of groups were there are email lists of fans in the discussion with instructions to add them

Yeh, post 'add me' posts on big mafia groups. Sometimes you can get 1k invites in about 2 - 3 days if you post enough..

-> Post Photos of Tht Poor Girl in Groups/Pages ( u dont need to upload each time if u do it correctly )

If You Added it to 20-30 Groups You will get Add Requests Daily

Keep adding them Dont delay
As if u add more than 500 in a Day FB can delete you
