Actually, we have our own dedicated server. So, after we purchase the domains all of the them are hosted the same machine.
I was wondering if it causes any issues. We were thinking it is no different than godaddy hosting hundereds of domains on one IP.
Thoughts ?

We are thinking if it is not a problem.
1) We would purchase 20-30 domain
2) Host them on the same machine
3) Create backlinks to the moneysite. Which is also on the same machine

I asked the same question in a SEO group on Facebook and i did not get a straight answer. For example if i created 100 Web 2.0s accounts on my computer using the same IP address, the response i got is that only thing matters is that not to create too much of the same Web 2.0's from the same IP address. For example do not make 100 Tumblr accounts linking to your site as these are from the same IP address. They say it is the IP address of the Web 2.0s that Google recognizes and not your residential IP address.
Can any SEO expert on here confirm this?

If you mix it up with some Cloudflare and Cloudflare alternatives you will be fine, people make IP way to big of an issue imho

IMHO IP factor is basically paranoia...
example = There are hundreds of sites on shared hosting. Assuming they are linking to 100's of different websites and If you get links from all of them, will Google mark them as your own sites?
I think the issue is if all sites are linking to only 1 site or all sites are linking to 1 commercial/new/money site and the other links are going to authority site/white listed sites. This is pretty easy to detect.
You need to tackle this.
This tumble example has the same issue as i mentioned above. If 100 tumblr blogs link to your site only, then google will devalues the 99 links
if 100 tumblr blogs llink to 1000's of sites and each blog also link to your site then Google may reduce link value based on the fact that all links coming from same root domain.
