What is your biggest regret about bitcoin ?

This thread just shows exactly what type of people are in the crypto space.
People filled with emotions.

It is sad to see that Bitcoin was invented to escape the financial prison but it is doing the exact opposite.
Bitcoin to me is nothing but a way to make a quick ROI.

Watch out for those crazy increases or big drops

Buy when it drops hard.
Sell when it increase hard.

The thing that you all should be doing is the exact opposite of what everyone in this thread is doing.

Do not have any emotions.
Cheers,

didn't buy it what was advised to do so by @davids355 .. Dave, when was the xmas party? .. 2015?

he advised me to invest 100$ and forget about it :) ... never listened :D

You can still invest and hope it is worth million one day.

My biggest regret, I guess, is not buying every damn time it drops to $3-5k and selling every time it goes up to $9-10k.

It's happened so many times in the past 2 years, and I keep seeing it happen, and I never do anything.

So I guess that would be it. But no biggie, not like I left a lot of money on the table by not doing it, seeing as I wouldn't be buying in for a large amount.

Saying "lol bitcoin" when they were 7$ a piece. Also, not being able to afford 7$ for that at the time. However, I don't regret it too much as I know that I would have cashed out when they reached 100 or 200$. If not - certainly when they were 700$. The way I see it, my biggest regret regarding bitcoin could have been much, much worse. :D

My biggest regret is that I'd heard of it back when you could buy 1 BTC for less than a dollar, but I didn't investigate to learn what it was. From the name, I very incorrectly assumed it was some worthless video game currency. Even if I'd have just put $1,000 into it back then and then held onto it, 2017 would have completely changed my life.

My biggest regret about BTC is that when I invest in Bitcoin, and when the price of Bitcoin goes down, I regret Bitcoin, but Bitcoin is definitely a good currency, you can use Bitcoin.

My biggest regret is when I sold all my bitcoins when it was per 300 USD. I have about 5 bitcoins if I save them that time. I was receiving these bitcoins from payment from the clients, and I didn't realize that it will reach for almost 20k USD per btc. I cannot do anything now, but to move on and forget the past.

I too had many at 300 USD range. Used them all up for domains and hosting!

A long time ago when BTC reached 1k$ for the first time ( then it fall back to 200-300$ range for 2 years ) I sold all my BTC and forgot about cryptos :D

Then 2-3 years after when BTC hit 3k $ I was reintroduced to cryptocurrency. I cried that night... I cried, even more, when BTC was at 20k$...

EDIT >>>

Oh by the way I sold my BTC and forgot about cryptos because there was a thread like this one on BHW and people were saying BTC is bull**** sell them...

Lesson learned >> never listen what people say on BHW :D

Mine's pretty obvious - not buying enough when it was cheap and not mining it when it was still easy and profitable to mine :)
