We Need Some Serious SEO Discussions

Why no one talks about how to do SEO for websites that can't have content by its nature. Like File Sharing websites, image sharing websites, calculators, and so on. Ever since I started SEO seven years ago, and when time passes I tap into markets that utilize little to no content. Although they bank hard from Ads and other monetization channels.

What about the whole blogosphere and the rest of the boards, generally in the SEO industry. No one covers such topics, I can remember few posts about Coupon Affiliate websites, which is a dark side of SEO too.

Thin content seo is damn interesting (not sure what the gurus call it). I can tell you that I have thousands of thin content site ideas that can kill. The only problem is that I fckin cannot rank them.

SEO can be done on such sites by adding the content in accordion, so that it will not show the content until the user click on it, or by disabling the content on front end but shows the content in source code.

That way it can be done in proper way

And when the sites grow on advanced level and getting the good links, then you can remove the content slowly like by paragraph and decreasing the keywords density.

Marketing & trust is the biggest problem of that type of sites. Saas and user-generated are always better than any fluctuation related structure, take BHW for example, they do not care about ranking in Google.

Until, mobile-first index update your assumption can be right. After that, content counts normally.

Nope, they don`t. They rank just because is an authority and it's named related, the other ranking keywords are related to user content. See below keywords per traffic.

I am sure the owners didn't do this lol. They are authority, yepp for sure. Being the authority helps to fight the bad effects of neg seo.

Again, bhw doesn't fall under thin content category.
