How much do you pay your virtual assistant?

Posted Tech Support ads in Philippines VA FB groups and it looks like my $1.50/hr offer (Mon-Fr - 9 hrs day) + 4 week paid holidays is too low.

Now I'm considering other countries like Moldova, Marrakesh, Venezuela.

Tx

Onlinejobs.ph try that

Yes, thank you - I did use their service 3 or 4 years ago - great resource. But, before posting there - wanted to know experience of others.

Where do you find VAs from Moldova, Venezuela etc? I am interested too

I got my most recent VA from virtualstaff.ph and I also got a few other offers, my first ball park figure was $150 for 35 hours a week.

Funny how these people charge so low considering they have a bachelors degree lol

Couple years ago I was flying to Chisinau, Moldova quite often. The basic wages were $100/month and $200/month was already an ok wage. The problem is - lack of English speaking people (in my case I need tech support people answering customer tickets in English).

.. as for Venezuela, there is so much information like this https://decrypt.co/26928/venezuela-raises-minimum-wage-petros-2-dollars-usd . I just wish the borders were open (lockdown) - you just get in a plane and see everything yourself. If everything is good - you rent an office space and hire whole team there. .. though maybe these are just fantasies. :?

@Roger Marquez might be interested in the job as he stays in Venezuela

oh cmon, not all countries have wages like UK, Germany or USA.

Have a look on EU: // source: https://ec.europa.eu/eurostat/statistics-explained/index.php/Minimum_wage_statistics //

I am 100% sure that even $1.50/hr is a good pay in many countries around the world. ... and $150/week is great for many
I understand but they have the skills why go for less?

I don't get what you meant by that statement

I meant - there are far more unemployed people in world who could work from home compared to the available decent VA jobs.

hopefully it makes sense :) .. proportions of demand vs supply

I and my PARTNER is FULL-TIME VA

my partner salary per month is: 250$
my salary per month: 250$

from PHILIPPINES :)

Thank you for sharing your experience. Is it full time? 35-40hrs/week? Thank you

Have a great weekend! H
