Hi all,

I've been vetting a few providers, but are there any that have 'reasonably' consistent VPN servers INSIDE mainland China?

What do you mean? Nordvpn is always working everywhere in the world, give it a try.

Lived in Nanjing for a year, Express never let me down even once. It's a bit expensive, though.

Nord doesn't have any servers inside mainland china. WOrks great if you live in China -> Out somewhere.

I am trying to go from US -> Mainland China

The reason is to access some internal chinese sites that can't be reached from the US

I don't think you'll find VPNs with servers inside China because of China's (lack) of privacy laws.

If you need a connection with a VPN server inside China, you can get an Alibaba cloud server (VPS) and install OpenVPN on it. In this way, you'll create your own VPN server.

Not a good choice to use the mainland Chinese VPN. Try a Hong Kong VPN.

Plenty of proxy providers have Chinese IPs. IMHO it's your best choice, but they will be more expensive than a VPN, especially if you're looking for residential proxies.
