I've updated the plugin so that it is much more adaptive to different kinds of permalinks, including the following:

• http://yourblog.com/whatever/?p=31
• http://yourblog.com/whatever/%postname%.html
• http://yourblog.com/whatever/%postname%
• http://yourblog.com/whatever/%postname%/

I'll send out the update either a little bit later this evening or tomorrow morning. It doesn't require reactivation, so you'll just be able to overwrite your files and then update your links by clicking the create/edit/update button in the Referer Guardian control panel.

These needed to be added manually because of the security features that Referer Guardian uses to ensure the integrity of traffic. The idea to add support for more permalink structures came from you guys, so keep the requests coming!

Great product! Thanks for the permalink advice, I couldn't figure out what was wrong. What is the best way to check the referer (as in see where the traffic is supposed to be coming from)? I trust the product but it's always nice to know and triple check in case I mess anything up on my end. Can never be too careful..

Thanks for the kind words. There are two good ways to test:

1. Set your final link to a site like: http://referer.us/http-referer-test.asp
2. Upload a .php page containing this code to a webserver somewhere:

   <?php echo 'Referer: '. $_SERVER['HTTP_REFERER']; ?>

Either way will let you test easily.

I have a suggestion Olden, I would like that one of my pages (not posts) in my whitehat blog will be the referrer but it seems that the plugins do not show the pages. Is there any possibility to make it worked?

Another thing that is not so important, I have a blog (whitehat) for more than +1200 posts and the list is too big so it takes time to get the right "whitehat referral" post that we would like to add. May be make an option to add a field so we can put the whitehat URL in this field instead of searching it in the big list.

@dishnetboi: This doesn't require any code changes. It rotates links. It does GeoIP based redirection. It also did much, much better in stopping leaks during a strenuous test of iframes for both.

@Guaji: I'll add pages in the next update. I'll also look into a search function for posts/pages. With regard to your problems, please email support if you have not already.

The Referer Guardian 1.0.2 update will be on its way to current customers in the next 15 minutes. It includes better permalink adaptation, as well as the ability to redirect through pages and not just posts.

I'm glad I could get you up and operational. You have a lot of posts on that site! I'm thinking the sub-page issue is pretty limited as well, but I'm going to see how each sub-page is stored and loaded and see if we can do something about that

Yes, and each month will be much more at least 300 posts. So imagine in one year how many posts will be. I will keep an eye in this post and your updated. Should I register to the newsletter to receive updates? or you added me again?
