You can set up google alerts. If you don't know how, google or youtube it. Best alternative to ahrefs and it's free.

This ain't very helpful but I do not pay for ahrefs and some how I always get emails from them about new backlinks to my site. Don't really know how I did it but I did.

Google alerts are a nice alternative in my opinion when it comes to mentions for different terms over the web (your brand name, or just important niche related queries you would like to keep an eye for). However, I didn't know you can set up Google alerts for new backlinks to a specific domain? Will check it out, thanks

I don't remember, it's been a year since I saw the video, but you search their SEO blog or youtube channel.

At most you can have alert for your brand mention and then you can try to convert that brand mention into link.

As I said in previous post, you can have alert for brand mention.

But you can not have alert for backlink.

You can check ahref blog post that you have mentioned.

OP is looking for alert whenever new link is created.

Ok, there is no free service that does this.
How about the cheapest service that does this?

I don't like ahrefs and I don't want to spend $99/month just to see my new backlinks. Maybe you know any service that just shows this for a lower fee?
