Hi,

I have WordPress music news site I’m trying to rank my homepage, I added 300 words in footer about music is that will consider duplicate content as it will be in every page in my site

what do you think?

Should be cool, many people have amazon affiliate text as a footer on their website. 300 words is a lot though.

Interesting! Never seen 300 words footer. Let’s hope you didn’t condense it with your important KWs

I recommend to not add in footer anything else then what suppose to be in footer.

Legale pages, contact/about us and similar things.

You can add 1-2 sentences but 300 words is just too much, you will make crawlers dizzy.

No, I didn’t post any my KWs in the 300 words.

No index it to be safe...

This is the content will NOT be indexed by Google.

maybe, but I’m hoping to see SERP improvement in Google with this so it must index

I’m trying to rank my homepage which contain only post titles.

one of the categories (contain only post titles) I added 300 words description and my category ranked very fast.

I’m thinking now I might only make these 300 words appear in homepage not every page in my site.
