Here I would like to add that Jobs was left by his parents as a baby. It's interesting that he did the very same thing to his own child when he grew up.
By the way, this is a question I have wondered a lot about lately. There are certain profitable niches out there that are related to my main niche, but I have a bad feeling about getting into them.
I often feel that there is a "chain of immorality" and marketers/whoever has to create the demand are close to the top of it. It's their job to do the dirty work kinda. In every field, there are many professions involved, but it's the marketer's job to get the users hooked.
E.g. a plastic surgeon sounds like a totally ethical profession, but they make their money off people's insecurities. Or let's take a physical product for example, that's manufactured in a third world country where the workers have no basic human rights and the manufacturing process often harms their health. And it's again the marketer's job to hide this and make sure that the costumer sees only a happy person in the ad.
This is the reason why I don't really buy stuff anymore lol.
