Are dedicated ipv4 bandwidth capped at 1GBPS?
Looking to purchase dedicated proxies for 3 computers but i only see proxies websites selling in bulk like 5/10 minumum. Am i missing anything out?

What if i were to use 1 proxy on 2 computers, will we be sharing the bandwidth too or will the bandwith still be the same e.g 1gbps proxy. 500mbps each or 1gbps for each computer do advise thank you

If you use the proxies for download for example, the bandwidth will split in 2, if you use 2 computers, at the same time.

Yes. well actually no, I’m reality one computer will probably be using slightly more.

It theory it should split between all the devices connected to it. Doesn’t always work this way.

you need to factor in port speeds, connection, location vs proxy location. What your Ethernet cables can carry. Cat 5? Cat 5e., 6 or 6a? It doesn’t matter if I have a 10gb network card in my gaming pc, if I only have cables that can carry one gb.


Also what’s your use case? Would a VPN be better suited? Would setting up a proxy / VPN on your router be worth a look ect? Are the computers in the same location or?

Honestly probably 3 proxies, in reality most proxy providers share their ports between multiple users so you sharing their servers gb connection, having three will give you three slices of the pie allowing you to have the best chance of reaching 1gb

HMA, ExpressVPN are the ones that i keep on my desktop, i skip other VPNS like NORD which are widely cracked.
Dont really like them, would really prefer a dedicated proxy since i can set it up on my computer
