Hello, can I get a trial? I signed up and sold my bandwidth for a bit, and tested but i didn't have a lot of bandwidth to test.

I also noticed I need to apply for to be a reseller for api access? I want to make a dashboard for my personal use, is it possible for me to get api access?
Hi ddo88, thanks for reaching out. We sent you a DM regarding the trial, and access to the reseller API.

What is PacketStream?
PacketStream is the first of its kind peer-to-peer proxy network. Packeters are compensated for sharing bandwidth on the PacketStream network and allowing users all over the world to have access to content on the internet through our secure network. Customers can purchase bandwidth and browse the web from residential IPs to protect their browsing privacy.

How Does PacketStream Work?
The PacketStream network routes customer traffic through PacketStream users allowing for increased privacy and access to geo-restricted content while browsing the web. Packeters on the PacketStream network share their bandwidth with PacketStream customers. The website/service receiving HTTP requests sees requests coming from real residential IPs and allows access to content that would otherwise be blocked if it had been requested from traditional data center VPNs or proxy networks.

What are PacketStreams use case?
PacketStream allows customers to access web content that might otherwise be blocked or modified when using a traditional VPN or proxy service.

Residential use-cases include:

  • Private Browsing: Prevent IP tracking and commercial data mining. Keep your online identity safe.
  • IP Ban Prevention: Relay your traffic through residential IPs without being blocked or banned from web services that would normally block VPN/proxy access.
  • Geolocation Control: Specify the geolocation of your request and gain the benefits of viewing region-locked content from any location.
Commercial use-cases include:

  • Price Comparison: Learn how competitors algorithmically price their offerings to users all over the world.
  • Brand Protection: See how your brand is being represented online and search for improper use of IP and trademarks.
  • QA Testing: Test the performance and availability of your own web & mobile services from any geolocation in the world.
  • Ad Verification: See exactly what your users see when they visit your website or mobile app. View your own pages to ensure your ad-partners aren't serving misleading advertisements and violating your ad policies.
  • Web Scraping: Use web automation tools for market research & business intelligence without being throttled.
What Countries Are Available? Can I Select A Specific Location?
All major countries are available. You can specify which country to tunnel your traffic through. City & State level targeting are coming soon.

What Are The Speeds of The Proxies?
Speeds vary based on geolocation, time and day. However, even on high traffic days it's possible to stream 1080p videos without any interruptions.

Does PacketStream Provide HTTP or SOCKS Proxies?
PacketStream currently provides HTTP and HTTPS proxies. SOCKS5 is coming soon. Any browser, operating system, or automation tools that support HTTP proxy requests are compatible with PacketStream.

Hi small_town_boy, we've replied to your DM regarding this. Thanks.

The PacketStream team still has a few free trials to allot to those who are interested - please reply to this thread for the form!

No response by email, hope I can get some response here. Looking to do multiple ips at once, but dashboard only shows one. How do I do it?

Interested. Could I get a trial? Please DM me!
Hi Sabaj, we sent you some more information on how to get a free trial. Thanks.

Hi Ivan_De, we're sorry about that. Please check your inbox for our message.

Hello,
I registered on your website and filled the details for trial as well. Could you please approve the trial before I decide to go for a paid subscription? Also, to double confirm, the 50 GB is valid till used and not just for 30 days correct?

Hi defleppard, thanks for doing that. Our team will process your request shortly if they haven't already, and yes PacketStream credits do not expire and can be used at any time.

Hi, Thanks. I tried to use API as directed on your website but my app did not recognize it as proxy. Also, found that I am not able to run multiple threads successfully. How many threads can I run simultaneous and does my IP change with every request?

Hi defleppard - for specific implementation help please feel free to email our support team at [email protected]. Regarding multiple IPs, that's no problem. Please use the Sticky IP feature on your dashboard. Each unique session ID will associate to a unique IP address

Hello, how long do sticky sessions last for, maximum?

Hi phatzilla, sticky sessions do not have a max limit

Hello,

I emailed you as requested in your OP for trial. But messaging here since you're mentioning to do that now in your later posts.

So esentially its when the endpoint loses connection is when its replaced?

Hello, can you send me the trial package? I try connect to your skype team but have't any response from your team.
Thanks regard!

DM'ed you

That's correct

Is there anyway to make the particular session id essentially "die" if the out_ip endpoint loses connection, instead of simply being replaced by a new ip? I would never want the same session id to be replaced with a brand new ip.

In other words

session id "xxxxxxxx" resolves to 1.1.1.1 for a while, then the server dies or opts out of your service or whatever the reason is, can we make that same session id simply timeout until 1.1.1.1 comes back online (if it ever does) instead of that session id now resolving to a new ip, say : 2.2.2.2. That would sort of provide some kind of predictable persistence, as long as the exit node stays up. Making new random session ids is easy, keeping track of persistent connections is not. Sometimes accidentally getting hit with a completely new IP can have bad consequences if you aren't always checking it beforehand

Hi Phatzilla - when a Packeter goes offline the session does not resolve to a new IP. However if a session ID goes unused for certain period of time it will be reset. To counteract this issue, we suggest customers to set up a script that makes a lightweight request every 30 min. or so to keep the session active. Please feel free to email [email protected] if you need further assistance.

Trial still available?
