My limit is 2 (1,500 - 2,000 words) articles daily for now. I feel it isn't ok though.

How many blog posts do you write daily? I'm trying to see if I'm being lazy or it's just normal. :D

I normally just copy other people stuff but I'm actually too lazy to do that lol

I get one every to months.
I'm not lazy... I'm busy.
And my posts are complicated.

I still wonder how profitable a blog can be.

Wow. What niche do you write on?

I'm doing home decor and DIY.. so writing a post for me includes actually making a project, taking pics, editing pics, and writing the actual post.
English is not my mother toung, and with a full time job and kids.. well..
It takes sooooo long.
I enjoy my blog a lot, but I wish I knew how to actually make money out of it.
Last month I did $10 from affiliate and it was the best month of my life. Lol.

I try to do ~2 posts weekly (barely hitting that quota - no time to write).

Family, kids, work, housework/yard work, everything creeps into my writing time.

By the time I sit down and try to write, I am dead tired and falling asleep so I try to hammer out 100-300 words and then call it a day.

I've tried content writers and they are ok, but I usually end up re-writing a bunch of it to fit better with my audience.

But as they say, slow and steady wins the race.

Nwanne, I made a research on this before I typed a single word on my blog post.
Depends on what you are ranking for
3 posts a week is ideal for evergreen articles. It's not really about the quantity but the quality. And for YouTube 1 video a week is fine.

2-3 articles per week.
But after you gain enough authority, even 1 per week is enough. :)

My goal is to complete at least 1 article per day. But lately, I’ve been hitting 2 per day which is good. I take around 2-3 hours per article. Sometimes more...

Wow 2 articles per day with 1000+ words, you must have more free time. :D

Let's say 1500+ words article of 3 to 4 per week is fine, google looks for quality always, so be prepared.

I you copy and of my text from my blog, and If I discovered that you have been doing that. Your website would go DDoSed until you are suspended.

So be careful, when you do that. Not anyone likes that. Of course you can copy, feel free. But if you do it to anyone don't expect to see any day your website hacked or Offline.

Are you lazy, it's OK. Contract someone to write your own articles, do you want to copy. Feel free... But there are consequences. In my case I would go DDoS your website.

it is no threat, but what I would do in my case.
Just in case.

If I can't outsource an article, then the max I can get done in a day is 1k words, I just have too much other shit going on to concentrate for a couple of hours on writing.

I burned myself out doing 10 per month at some point. I feel comfortable doing 3 per month.

Slow, sure, but it has worked out just fine. Though I'd like to pump them out like most other people go about it because then I'd be rich within 3 months tops...

Yeah slow and steady always wins. Goodluck.

One blog post per day is a great start, but ideally, you'd want to publish multiple posts per day. If you can write two blog posts a day, you can quickly build a one-month editorial calendar and schedule enough posts in advance to take a few days off while still publishing that pre-written content on your blog

Bro, I also do too and it's not easy. But most of my competitors publish daily so I have to keep up. :D

Thanks for you reply.

Good. Keep going man. :)

Ok man. I also do 1 per day sometimes. Writing isn't easy.

I hit at least 5k words per day. Google docs is the secret.

I just recently started using Google docs and it has increased my productivity by up to 60%. Pretty handy tool.

I can write 20,000 words everyday forever. SEO GOD MODE

20k? How?

Lol. Writing generally isn't easy. Just do what your brain allows and relax.;)

2-3 articles per day. Will outsource this in the coming weeks though.

If I spent the time I'm posting on BHW writing articles, I'd be a millionaire by now... :)

Don't stop posting on BHW please, you're impacting in the lifes of people you don't even know and learning at the same time.

You can create a schedule for browsing and posting BHW and make sure it doesn't interfering with your writing time.
