I think im done with her packets. After 3 months i cannot find one, not one backlink show up anywhere. The only links showing up are the ones i found my self all ExpressionEngine forums.

I even purchased 2 addition months worth from last year. Not one of those have shown up. Seo Quake, Seo Elite, Yahoo links and even backlinkwatch do not show a single backlink.

So whats the problem? I went back though my pdf's and clicked on every link in the packet. I logged into my account. 90% of the accounts i created 3 months ago are still active. Posting on forum profiles may be a complete waste of time im thinking. Why else is Google not picking them up? Hell, i even pinged them after i created them.

I cant work it out. I cant be the only one not seeing link results. I think its safe to say iv waited long enough for them to show up somewhere.

Strange

It's my opinion that her back link packages are spam instantly. If tons of people use her service, surely the websites are aware and kill the BL.

What makes sense to me though is to use her BL packages from a year ago.

There is no huge influx of people setting up BL on those sites.

Also, when creating a profile, it really makes sense to make a complete profile, not just a name and a backlink.

Again, just my opinion.

I have been building 80+ links to one of my site, trying to get it to overtake the No.1 spot. It's at No.3, and nothing is happening yet.

However, every link I built I pinged with Pingomatic. As of now, there are like 25+ links showing in Site Explorer, with a lot of them from similar domains.

All my links are there just as i posted them. They are publically viewable. Its one thing if the webmaster found the profiles then deleted them but thats not the case. They are there exactly as posted.

The question really is, why has Google not found them after 3 months?

Google finds links posted on Expressionengine forums like next day.
Google finds comments to posts like next day. Those are comments where they allow you to ADD your website.

But posts to profiles other than Expressionengine do not show up anywhere in my case. This tells me that Google is smart enough to bypass those. What other explanation is there?

I think her packets are a waste of time.

You will note, she doesnt practice what she preaches. If you check out her own websites you wont find a single forum profile show up as a backlink. Why is that? The only backlinks shes getting are the comments she posts too. Thats really about it.

I also use pingomatic without a single backlink for 5 packets. The only ones showing up are the ones i found. Thats really about it!

I just checked site explorer. 38 backlinks after 3 months? Not one of those are from Angelas packets, not one and im checking one domain iv included in every link. This is unbelievable.

Dont waste your time posting to forum profiles. It doesnt work!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ughh common use some common sense.

First of all, Google doesn't go looking for backlinks for you, you've got to SHOW Google the backlinks.

Google finds comments because they appear on important pages of websites.

Google finds the Expression forum links because you post on the forum. Or if you just create an account there then it will still show up in the newly registered users, right on the MAIN page of the forum.

But when you create a profile in the middle of some dumb website that is away from all the content of the site, then Google isn't going to look for it or find it, and there might even be 0 links pointing to your profile link. So OBVIOUSLY Google hasn't indexed your pages.

This should be already well damn obvious.
Now go do stuff like submit the rss feeds, bookmark the links, ping the bookmarks and the links themselves. Show Google the links, don't just expect Google to find and index every damn useless page of yours.

Cool is absolutely correct, in order to get your links indexed you need to bookmark them or point to them... The ironic part is, that neither Angela or Paul mention this in any of their link packages, which I find is a major issue why people like Mikie46 can't figure out why he isn't getting backlink love.

What do you mean by point to them? If i bookmark every backlink on every profile surely this will be seen as spamming.

From my experience Angela`s backlinks are a complete waste of time. I was doing them a couple of months ago when they were not that saturared and still, even then, they were not worth it.

Some things to keep in mind.
1. Google usually does not find this type of links by itself. Same as with forum profiles. You need to throw some backlinks at them.Ex do some blog commenting, social bookmark, submit rss feed (for social profiles)
2. It has become counter productive to hit her packets. I don't know what kind of automation you have in place, if any, but if you re pursuing this avenue you should use her footprints and find fresh/new sites to put your links.
3. Google may have filtered these kind of backlinks and they are not that effective any more. I am throwing this in as a possibility because you said that 90% of your links are still up. For me, my main challenge was that the webmasters were turning the links into plain text, removing the backlink area etc.

Start backlinking to the backlinks and if nothing happens, move on to a new type of strategy.

Well said. My thoughts exactly but you put it in words better than i did.

I think this Angela is a sham. I once asked her a question and got an extremely snotty reply, a reply that had nothing to do with my question. I dont know what her problem was but she came back with a reply along the lines of, its not my problem if the site looks different too my screen shots, something along those lines. What a mess. Shes more interested in making that 5 bucks and nothing more. I hope more people wise up and cancel their subscriptions ASAP!

The few times I have communicated with her she was very nice and although I do not believe it is best to use the BLs as she states, I still subscribe.

i used some backlinks from her lists and all my blogger blogs got PR (1 or 2)
and used only 3 to get my wordpress domain indexed in 6 hours
and about the seeing the backlinks part..for me take about 1-2 weeks
i dont know why you all complain, for me works every time :(

I don't know about Angela's packet. Stopped using her packets for a long time because most of the sites in her packets are paranoid about getting thousands of spammy accounts all of a sudden.

Profile links still work for me and for most of my clients. Make sure that once you've built those links, create RSS feeds with Icerocket, submit them to hundreds of RSS submission sites, ping them and bookmark the RSS feeds if you want (I don't do this thou) to ensure the best results from those profile links.

Last but not least, don't bother with no-follow sites for profile links.

IMO, the only worthy in her packets these days are the links that allow us to post our own blogs. Had a few articles posted in those blogs ranking better than my money sites in a few instances.

I have tested 4 months of her links on 20 urls. Pinged and submitted rss feeds.

Here are my results:
Over 90% of links are still intact.
Yahoo site explorer shows less than 5%.

It's kind of discouraging as it's hard work.
I notice only 5 or so sites that are good. Links keep on appearing on only these sites.

Here is my experience with angela stuff,

apllied the nov package to a new domain name, and here is my results,

the website went to the first page before i even complete the full package in less than 2 hours,

and 2 days later i got to the first spot and it's been a month now and i'm still there,

But ... i have the exact keyword on a .org domain, and i have 10 live ezine articles and some forum posts and blog comments here in there and around 27 videos in difrent video sites, and at the begining i bookmarked my site to the top bookmarking sites and i sent my url to the websites on this thread

Conclusion: the angela backlinks package works!! but you got to mix it up with other backlinks sources in order to get the juic needed to rank high ! other words, angela backlinks should be a part of your strategy and not your main strategy

Thanks,

You said it! But you've got to mix it up with article marketing, etc.....

They definitely do have some kind of effect, for me at least. But as mentioned above, don't just stick to her links. Use her idea to find new sites she isn't pimping out.

No backlink checker is 100% accurate. You should concern yourself more with your ranking than whether the links are reported. That said you need to put them in an RSS feed then send it to RSS aggregators at a minimum.
