Somewhere on the internet, I wanted to mine it - I was a kid and my friend told it's not worth. Few month after that I heard someone lost harddisk with some bitcoin and it went up to 700$ I think. I was angry AF, but when heard BTC was 20K I lost my shit.

I remember hearing about it on then news when I was like 18 and working a telemarketing job. I obviously didn't buy any bitcoin back then, and the price shot up really high a year or so after to the point where people were made millionaires. It was crazy

I used to love this YouTube channel called ‘Tested’. On 2nd April 2014 (my birthday) they released a video where they bought a bitcoin from a bitcoin ATM

At this time, bitcoin was valued at $340. I was so intrigued by bitcoin that I asked my parents (I was 13) if I could spend some of my birthday money I got that day on one bitcoin (income the ‘privileged’ comments). They said no...

My friend told me about it when it was $10, but didn't buy any til it hit $100. Knew there was limited supply and wanted to have at least 1.

I was using liberty reserve for payments as paypal was not available that time in my country, and heard for Bitcoin in 2009-2010 as some new anonymous payment system but I never bothered to read more about how it works or to create account. Too bad, I missed to buy it again in 2012-2013, then again in 2015-16
