Hey i am a noobie video editor that wants to learn and freelance in video editing. Anyone know how to do so

First you need to cecome good at what you do, put yourself out there (e.g. on YouTube) and you'll receive enough offers.

1. make a lot of portfolios
2. put it in youtube or on your own website
3. start selling in Fiverr, Upwork, or microstock like Shutterstock, Dreamstime, Envato Element, etc.
4. make a profile in Instagram, FB page, Pinterest, and other social media.
5. upgrade your skills.

Create profiles on freelancing platforms and make offers on: freelance, fiver, upwork. Share your portfolio if you have any, this would help people to better understand the services you're catering.

Ignore all the advertise on Linkedin replies waste of time... if you was something half decent in video production you would have landed a job where it counts (no offence OP)
RIGHT freelancing so you are going to dip your toe in, to be honest it's going to suck and hurt the few months if not years mistakes will be made but you will learn. IF your skills are not up there yet then I would start with the basics.
Decide what you want to do video wise (is it just editing or are you going to shoot as well?)
Id look for some keywords like "cheap 360 video editor for ebay" start making landing pages for a ton of search terms like that and brand out a business from there. Do the work cheap figure out a pricing structure 30sec video $25 or whatever and aim for bulk work load.
You will need to start to dummy up a few projects of your own to advertise.
ID then look at branching out on Upwork or anyplace similar and start to learn on the job from there.
Once you have a few paid projects and a bit of experience under your belt start to look around for photography studios (the type you can hire for the day in your local area)
Get in touch with the owners or the company there and ask if you can leave some cards or put your name on a list of recommended video editors to be recommended to the customer base there.
Now you have some connections the next thing you want to do (as unless you get a decent job or regular paying client I think video editing as a job is hard) I would look to start learning how to shoot video and editing a 2-4 camera set up. IF you already know how to do this - reach out to local colleges, universities, networking events and business mentor places.
Offer a package for filming talks and conferences suggest you offer:
- 3 x Camera Set up (I use to offer HD so now offer 4k)
- Video Editing
- Supply Online video (I used to offer 250 DVDs) (more if the client wanted them)
Offer that as a flat rate (depends on your area) but I used to charge 4995 (I kept it under 5,000 as most places I used to pitch anything over 5k would need to be sent out and supply a tender) for a 2 day shoot, half a day video editing and I was clearing under just over 3k profit
Video, edited and raw as well as DVDs got supplied in 10 days. I used to make a fair bit of money doing that back in the day

To directly answer your question:
Quite often one of the forum members kindly posts a list of Udemy coupons where you can register and grab courses at no cost.
Often there are courses on video editing where they teach you everything from what software to use and how to start a business with your new skills. (You can always take more than one course - of course!)
Keep your eyes open to the main forum main page and you should see these offers at zero charge.
Alternatively go to Udemy and look through the courses there (paid) and get on with it.
Work hard and you will succeed.
