nice profits with amazon, what is your margin like on the products? do you repackage the products or ship straight to warehouse?

Ship straight to warehouse.

Yes it can. I've made 6 figure numbers from Amazon although they are greedy as hell which annoys me. They have a great business model

1. Want to sell with us? sure, pay to keep your stuff in our warehouse for prime
2. O wait, we'll take 17% of what your product sells for
3. We'll take a fulfillment fee
4. While we're at it, you want to rank? pay for that too?
5. Someone has hijacked your listing? that's your issue.

They make more money than i do and i've had to do a credit card claim back on their advertising fee's before as they've taken them out of my account when there were no campaigns running.

that being said, its profitable but some people see those numbers and think "wow" without breaking them down fully.

Btw, that's not questioning your stats or numbers etc. There is still good money to be earnt but i'm talking from my experience.

Yes, those issues are there.

Can you tell us (or pm) the name of the company please?

Your first post and you directly came to this thread to ask the company name....lol :D

Pretty much anything can make you good money if you're consistent, persistent, and patient. Aren't you gonna share some tips?

This is not some new method. There are a ton of resources available to learn from.

Cheers mate!

I have a real question here..

Have you ever considered channeling your customers to your own site instead of amazon (since amazon takes a big cut)? For example, is it possible to send them a card with a coupon code with the product (For FBA that is)? You could have your website address there, and tell your users if they buy directly from you, they will get 10% discount... or something like that.

Does this work?

I am asking because we are considering starting a packaged food related business online (well, the company setup was in progress but this covid19 fucked everything for us).

How much time now you have in amazon ?

Almost 3 years

Yes, but it's very risky! Even if 1 customer complains you can kiss your account goodbye!

Then you have to spend $999 to buy a new seller account! ;)

I think you forgot one.

6. Did you get a fake negative review? Who cares, we got paid

A lot of sellers will do this and offer cashback or a discount for a positive review. I saw one seller even offer a free gift.

I'm a high risk, high rewards seller. I order from China and do a mix of FBA and FBM. I buy multiple seller accounts and sell different products on all of them.
How old is the oldest seller account ?

Not hating on Android but invest in an iphone with that dough

And what about Amazon fees and returns? My company used to take between £28,000 - £40,000 each month and still made a loss.

it's everybodies dream, buying products from china and send them to us storages, earn money with doing nothing, but i can say that thousands of people thinking like this, if you don't spend time for this its so hard to earn money from amazon

Would be really interested to see a breakdown of how that happened margins + fees etc? Been thinking about getting into FBA and using the 'fee calculator' it looks like I could make a 20-50% net profit on quite a few products (minus any extras not accounted for such as marketing, which I have the tools / resources to do fairly cheaply).
