Is cash better than bitcoins ?

Bitcoin - peoples money, created by the people, for the people
Which is the issue with it at the same time. Until there are governments, they can decide to ban it from one day to another, which is already the case in several countries. Russia is about fully ban it. If you buy cryptocurrencies, you wil risk $14k in fines and up to 4 years of jail time or forced labor up to 5 years for large scale violations. People who already own cryptocurrencies are forced to get rid of it before the law enters into force.

i prefer cash, it doesnt loose value , its always the same
yes i no theres the online side for buying but i just use my cc
Thats not true. Cash/fiat loses value from inflation. This year is going to be the biggest (by far) inflation rate the world has ever seen.

You should really learn about this or you'll lose BIG TIME from the "cash doesn't lose value" idea.

Well if Russia (or any country) bans Bitcoin, they'll reveal their fight against freedom, rather than for it.

You can own bitcoin in your head, so Russia will ban freedom of thought? Really a sad situation for people of RUS, if that happens.

you put no value on digital goods or data
I understand the value of digital goods, but I'm interested in why you think that a form of money which is physically within your possession and used universally could be less robust than a form of money that intangible.

It's faster, cheaper, more secure and immutable
Faster: Bitcoin transactions take on average 30 minutes to complete and can take hours. Payment using credit/debit cards are instantaneous. Many types of international remittance via banks can be completed instantaneously also.

Cheaper: The cost of making a bank-bank payment is free locally, and often not very high internationally. The fees involved with transferring cryptocurrencies between exchanges can be significant sometimes (chains of purchases and sales of crypto add up in fees).

More secure: The funds that you hold in your bank are 100% insured against any outcome that isn't your fault, except for a global financial meltdown. While there are a wide range of different cryptocurrency vulnerabilities that can lead to your account being hacked and funds being stolen, there are also vulnerabilities in every form of cryptocurrency storage (exchanges, hardware wallets, software wallets).

Immutablility: Where a fraudulent theft involving fiat currency can be recovered, this is not true with Bitcoin which is gone forever once stolen. Also if you make any kind of mistake when transferring funds, your assets are likewise gone forever. Immutability is not necessarily an advantage. Can you name an advantage of immutability?

Food for thought.

Bitcoin is more volatile than strong currencies like USD, GBP and so on but offer more flexibility in online payments.

Paying online with "cash" via the means of PayPal and traditional banking is typically more expensive than bitcoin too

VSYNC you're using the worse case scenarios for Bitcoin while using the best case scenarios for banking/fiat

Faster: if you must send me $100 from your bank right now, how would you do that? You could get it to me in under 30 minutes?

Cheaper: travel internationally and you'll see the full scale rape the banks do to their customers

More secure: does your bank insure your money from devaluation? wake me up when they do, and i'd consider supporting dollars again. As for "vulnerabilities in every form of cryptocurrency storage", please show an example of when a Trezor wallet was compromised, or Electrum, Ledger, etc., in every instance it is human error. QuantumComp is not here, encryption works. Bitcoin is the most secure form of storing value or means of payment.

Immutability: there are pros & cons to this, but your pro-fiat stance clearly shows bias here. Recovering stolen fiat? What % of stolen fiat is actually recovered per year?

.. oh, and more food for thought:

Fees wise bitcoin is better option than PayPal.

Depend on the situation. But on most case bitcoin is more useful, since you can use it to pay worldwide. from your home. But cash? you need to do it from home. WU,etc.

What is WU ?

depends what you want.
Money is easy to use, exchange and pay everything on every market.
BTC is more of an investment, both short and long term. You can pay with BTC also, some services offer BTC payment, but one usually goes for BTC seeking to make some good money trading.

I like all of your other points though, what do you think is the biggest challenge for the cryptocurrency industry to tackle in 2020?
I'm aware of that exploit, I still consider that "human error" too, because like your phone, gold bar, wallet/fiat, or anything of value you wouldn't wanna leave on table while going to bathroom at a Chuck-E-cheeze. Bitcoin itself, to date, has never been hacked.

Biggest obstacle to Bitcoin this year, hmmm too many!!!
- gov regulation -they cant stop it, but they slow its progress, ppl like Brad Sherman, Russian gov right now, etc
- misinformation - ppl getting scammed into altcoins or bitcoin fakes like bcashsv/bcash, bitcoin .com site is run by a scammer (Roger Ver)
- banks - as much as i dislike how they operate, right now we still need them, and can coexist, but ppl like Jamie Dimon have been fighting BTC for years, they stand to lose as bitcoin succeeds, so they'll fight as dirty as needed.

I have lots more but here's just a few for now ;) what about you, what do you think biggest obstacles for this year?

That is a very unique advantage I am listening.
Listen to what? Memorise private key and nobody can take it from you. You can travel the whole planet with millions if not billions in your memory. The asset is not confiscateable. Until 2009 there was no such asset.
