I have a full time 9 to 5 job doing Google Ads for a wedding company and a SaaS startup(same owner for both). I also have one freelance client on the side that I just landed a few weeks ago.

How do I make the transition from a 9 to 5 job to a full-fledged entrepreneur?

I would like to hear from people who have done it themselves...

Well technically you are, i think you need to be a bit more specific though, like how do you scale up your operations for example.

The good thing about freelancing is that I can boost my income. The bad thing is that they are mostly lower-end clients with lower budgets. Which means I have to fulfill the work myself. I would have to optimize their Google Ads accounts for 1 or 2 hours per week. But my time is limited, which limits my income.

If I could find higher-end clients with big budgets, then I could outsource the Google Ads work to a whitelabel agency. butttttttttt i don't know how to find these big clients...........

Sounds like you need more freelance clients.

WOW!
I just had a lightbulb moment, what if I found some person to find clients for me, and set those appointments?

I don't know where to find a person like that. and I'm not sure if I can afford to pay someone like that... hmmmmmm

Maybe find a young person and pay them a commission only on sales and let them work from home? :)

Well for one option there is the Joint Ventures section where you can post a thread for a partnership, after meeting the requirements.

But how much would I pay them? Do you think I could find some reliable person to do that?

Anyone have experience with hiring an appointment setter? I need more clarity on how to go about this. More specifics please.

May i ask u how u got that job?

To answer partially, you can just pay them a percentage / commission for bringing in the client. I am talking about online freelancing, though this would work offline probably as well.

My full time 9 to 5 job? I learned Google Ads through online courses, got an SEO internship and then applied for a Google Ads marketing job for a small business and got the job. Been there since January. Still upgrading my skills. But now that I have my own freelancing job, I realize that its a lot easier than expected. Just landing the big boy clients is the tough part.

As you stated before get someone to contact people and set up appointments and just give them a 5-15% comission. Hire someone to do the cheap jobs while you are focusing on the big ones.

I'm sure if u work with the right person u will get thoes clients

Since you have adwords knowledge
  • Get more clients
  • Promote affiliate products

Just a simple idea. Make a website about your services and have an affiliate program with good terms in order to get more people to use it. Install an affiliate program plugin so people could track how much they have earned from commision and how many clients they have brought to you.

When you can work at 2 am in your pajama, being your own boss, you will become an entrepreneur

How would I create an affiliate program for Google Ads & Facebook ads management services? Sounds good in theory but no idea how to actually do it

I think I'm going to make a post in Joint ventures section and give 10% commission on profits. For both Google Ads & Facebook ads. What are your guys thoughts on this?

Any advice to make this successful?

You already have a skillset, add a website and marketing. You will grow
