But this one is 1000% true, tested in in the all ways possible and an average if I spam hardcore a site, it will rank and bank at least for 6 months till they're verifying manually and this happens in my case just if site brakes 1 million per day!

The tune has been danced the way Google wants. This update is total sh*t. Yes, copiers are ranking while originals are tanking. I agree with the fleet option where you need to own copy content, spun, original etc so you are suredeal to rank on every update

I don't have same conclusions.
I saw many EMD going outside the TOP100 if they didn't have any recent backlink.
I was very surprised to see a very old EMD website which used to be an official website 15-20 years ago but now abandonned going from 30th to 100+
There is still some bonus but you have to work on it to get backlinks. And yeah EMD can definitly work well in those conditions.
I see ecommerce having priority now for generic-buying keywords and authority websites rank high whatever the quality. Content websites rank for long tail keywords like review, bet, what to do, etc. But for generic keywords quality content websites are going to page 2.
So now you see many keywords with the top 2 spots going to 2 different Amazon search pages.
Basically, Google is taking no risk and do absolutly nothing to help the readers. They just tell you to look yourself on Amazon or at their Adwords or Google shopping ads on some big generic keywords. It's becoming ridiculous.
I've been building a niche section on my most authoritative website where I put my affiliate links. I saw it gave some protection compared to my competitor who dropped a few positions with various niche websites in the same field.

Same here. Some of my keywords were on #1 for several weeks. Since the update they were dancing all over page 1. From #1 to #5 to #2 to #6 to #9 back to #1 etc. its extremely frustrating.

It seems google want to keep user on their property only unless someone clicks on their ads.

Its good for google but sadly not for us, the guys who were doing amazon affiliate were kicked twice very hard on the ass in very small amount of time.

1 More White Hat one
2 More blackhat (think vantablackhat)
3 Crappy content one
4 Spun content one
5 Kinda regular one

That's the solution to be always on first page

With every update you will have some sites up and some down

So basically it is just random shuffling of results irrespective of content or SEO. If this is the case, one should focus on quality of sites instead of quantity. At least , some will benefit from the update and give good returns.

I hope that the lawsuits will hurt very badly. Huge fines and a ban on practicing for a while in the countries that will bring them to justice would be needed to calm them down a bit. This would be a good trigger, Microsoft has been punished Google will be too, even if they have a lot of money it remains a company.
