Hello friends, time for another journey.

Short about me:

- Doing affiliate stuff fulltime
- Looking for an adventure in these corona times
- Live in Norway 22 years old

What am I going to do and why?

In June I am going to sell 1500$ worth of web design and SEO. I have never sold it before, but it should be possible.

I don't want to splash around with my affiliate revenue since this needs to be re-invested. But if I earn some side hustle money I can afford to waste a little.

My plan is to buy a moped and travel to my friend in Sweden. He has a small cabin where I can stay for a month or two to do some work.

In addition to this I will visit a friend in Oslo and catch up with a beer or two... but this will only be possible if I do this one thing... make 1500$ in June with side hustles.

What I have done so far?

- Set up a website
- Set my pricing - 250$ + 29$/monthly - 499$ + 39$/monthly - 1199$ + 39$/monthly

This is the designed cost + recurring cost for support, hosting etc. The reason for this is that its "easy" (I think) to scale with ads. Long term I want to have about 100 customers and hire support guy to take care of the support.

My plan

- Test ads with a 300$ budget
- Cold email outreach
- Facebook groups
- Go door to door to companies in my city that has shitty websites (I am super introvert so this is last resort, but if I have to I will...)

Focusing on the Norwegian market at the beginning

Conclusion

I have no clue what I am doing, but I have a goal and I know I need to send my offer to as many people as possible if I am going to succeed within a month.

If you have experience with this type of stuff feel free to reach out or leave a tip or two in the comment section :)

Good luck with your journey.

Ps. Make it 12k and $120 monthly. Makes more sense to me :p

Nothing is impossible. Following your journey. Good luck

Change my plan a litle during the day.

Changing focus away form: Cold email, calling, door to door

towards:

- SEO
- ADS

Sure it's a short term goal I have, but the longterm plan is to actually make this a solid business, not a one-time thing since I want to add another leg to my economy table to make it a bit more stable.

When I have SEO traffic and ADS on point I will start testing an e-commerce checkout to my services -> fill inn your requirements page (after checkout). Not sure if this will work tho, will probably need some videos on the website to add some trust in there... we will see.

What I did today

- Added 3 pages targeting my top competitor's keywords. - I have about 8-9 pages now targeting "Webdesign city" - "Webdesign Price" and "Cheap web design" I saw a company in Norway only doing this and making about 7k month so it should be good enough for me as well.

Currently ranking #19 for "Webdesign agency" and #23 Webdesign bigcity in Norway without any links, so will focus on that one next month.

- Still have a solid 1-2 hours left. I will spend those on making one last page and then fixing the call to action and funnel before I can start running ads. I Will adjust my ad budget to 500$ and I put aside 200$ for next month on PBNs for the site. So ye could just spend those on a moped and go, but... haha Nah not as fun.

Good luck! Not sure how much SEO you can do for clients with 250$, though.

Thats for webdesige = Upwork guy + elementor templates.

For I SEO I will minimum charge 500$+ depends on the niche... still cheap

Do you plan those 500$ as the project budget or is this just your fee and they'll pay further for link building and outreach/etc?

Just saw it will cost me 3$ per click on ADS... and I know I can outrank them all for keywords. Dont want to waste my money on ADS to later on find out it didn't pay out. Will stick the 500$ into building or buying links for my pages instead and wait til they rank.

Hey man. If I were you I would rethink your choices a bit, and this comes from someone who has done what you're about to do.

Using the cold calling and cold emailing, no matter how awkward you think it is, is crucial at this point.

SEO takes too much time to be rewarding in the short-term, especially if you're gonna try to rank for keywords related to SEO.

I have tried this myself and it only becomes something you put time into that doesn't lead to any income (at least for me).

A lot of your business will come from referrals.

You could try ads, but I would recommend posting to Facebook groups for small business owners and business forums, and last but not least classifieds sites in your local language if I were you. You have the site "Blocket" in Norway or an equivalent, don't you? That's the type of places you need to start in.

I have gotten many clients like this over the years. You might a lot closer to your goal than you think.

As for ads, my only suggestion is to try generating lead ads on Facebook by targeting business owners and calling them up immediately.

Oh, and one more tip — Google is FULL of websites that need an update ;)
