How to recover from G update?

tbh all my traffic.. Gone.. i wonder.. how to recover it?


it feels like links do NOTHING now... i have many contextual, indexed links... few hundreds.. yet.. 0 traffic.. i had some traffic, but with this update it all went to zero, and my kws got kinda deindexed (pages are still indexed,they just lost all the kws, that are slowly recovering)


Dont know what to do honestly, im surprised that among all the hunderds links i made (manually) google doesnt find any worthy ones, as theyre very random and various. so there certainy have to be some valuable links too

Wait a bit. I still see many changes in the serps every single day. Seems like the update didn't really settle yet. Also no idea what they were targeting.

doubt, its 2 weeks now

btw

no product owner would let their product be unusable for over 2 weeks during "update" so thinking update needs to take month or more to show proper results (and work correctly) is just fundamentally wrong

they officially anounced the completion of update. But the fact is google never said any truth till now. So belive what nakumara said... Even i'm seeing 20% improvement..

Just look at SEMRush rank changes from yesterday.. they are still rolling out this update.

I literally targeted new keywords (A bit more Low competition ones) and i recovered a bit.

I also improved internal linking + my content.

P.s; I noticed lately that if you resubmit an URL in the Google Search Console, you'll get it crawled and possible recover from the update without major changes.

Its normally lower than that though. Purely speculation, but some people say that google "soft release" a core update a few weeks before its release, so it would make sense.
