I had regained my positions around the last weekend, and today got a sharp drop.
Several keywords where I had the top 1 and basically was the only relevant result in the SERP now have absolutely irrelevant pages at the top.
Several keywords have 3-4 pinterest pages at the top now, while me and other articles are way down.
Several keywords have outdated (2016-2018) thin content by high auth sites, and some of these sites have 2 similar pages from one site in the same SERP, also for some keywords the top 3 spots are occupied short, low quality badly spun articles by 20-30 DA affiliate sites.
A few keywords are not seen, I fell out of top 100.
I do still have a few top 1 top 3 results, but I don't know for how long.
New content is not indexing and not ranking since April.
My site is still low auth though and it ranked due to high quality long content and good on page SEO. Maybe some backlinks will push it back up, I don't known.
But Danny Sullivan's and Google Search Liaison's Twitters are full of similar stories (thin content, Pinterest at the top, their good quality sites on page 3 or out of top 100, new content not indexing or ranking).
Something weird is going on again.
Hope they fix it soon.

Today's results don't make sense.
I wonder if I should add any more words to the existing content or build any links or just wait for a while.
while Im googling with "newest news" at my local language google showing half pages result of expired news at first page

I do SEO and SEM to a client. I notice a huge gain in rankings from organic keywords.
I'm guessing google prioritizes those sites who avail their adwords service. Not the idea of using adwords to gain impressions but those who uses ads get VI treatment when it comes to rankings.

Mine was stable, got -5% on all keywords and only one dropped enterly (which was a long tail anyways) the first day and it stayed like that for the entire 2 weeks. Just that I thought I might survived it, I had all of my keywords down by -50%

They're going the Facebook/Instagram way where a buisnesses' subscribers only see that businesses' posts after the business has paid the evil corporation for ads.

Dam ......like that we small players going to dom ??? Only big players they using Adwords is not just once or few times , they monthly using it to ad their business.
Same here, it's FU#$%^ unbelievable ...
