Post COVID-19 Trends I see

Here go a list of trends I see from the effects of the COVID-19 situation.

- Lower demand for commercial real estate in some places
- Rise of working from home, even for a few days out of the week
- More online education
- Increase for internet security & privacy
- Slight rise in home schooling
- Cryptocurrency ( as a hedge against inflation due to mass printing of USD)


Those are the biggest ones I saw from my research/observations. There are plenty of smaller ones, but those are probably a few of the major ones.

I'll casually update this thread with more things.

Commercial real estate could go up, because there needs to be more distance between people, so more space needed.

Every single new public development will need to include 2m distance between people e.g. customers in a customer service center so prime commercial land values going up IMO

This was what I see before I leave the Philippines after lockdown and go back to Sydney:
Philippines:
1. Bicycles
2. Electric bicycles
3. Electric scooters
4. Face mask
5. Face shield


Sydney:
1. Tissues
2. hand sanitizers
3. Face masks

Almost all around the world: hotels, restaurants and cafes are dead.

Cryptocurrency ( as a hedge against inflation due to mass printing of USD)

You can not use something like hedge assets what has no real price.
