Hello, how are you?
First of all, sorry for my English, is not my native language, but I try.

I am a mum of 38 already :( but I am looking for new ways of making income. I hope it is not too late.

Due to COVID-19 I have been fired and although I have some savings, I need to start looking for additional ways of income online. I have been investigating but there is a vast world of methods that I am overwhelmed. Adsense, Amazon Affiliate, Clickbank, Instagram, Facebook, etc etc...

I know that I have to learn and some elbow grease, and there is no problem to do it, but I would like your opinion. If you start today, what would you choose? Which way?

I know I wont have any income in the begining, and probably I will lose money investing in ads, etc. But I want to have a solid sight that what I am doing is the right thing.

At the moment I feel so lost I do not know where to start. Maybe you can give me a helping hand?

Many thanks in advance.

Rose.

Honestly; if you're just here to make a quick buck while not working, you will probably not see much success. If you want to make money online, you would stick to it, not just because you lost your job. It will most likely take over a year for you to see the same amount of money in IM as your dayjob brought.

Hi DunderMannen,

Maybe I haven't explained myself good. I am looking for a new job obviusly in an office, but in the meantime as I have time I want to invest it in some knowledge in IM. I am not here for a quick buck, I just want to learn. If I am lucky to earn some extra money, that is nice. If in the future I can live full time doing it, GREAT!

That is why I want to take it seriously asking the community if they can guide a little bit where and where not to go.

If you were starting today with the knowledge you have, what would you do different compared to how you actually started?

Cheers

EDIT: By the way, just 1 year to see same money as my dayjob brought? Where should I sign? :D

All what you posted are good ways to make money, but whichever you start make good money from it before going to the next phase

I would find a low competition keyword of something you know about and make a YouTube video with as much information as possible - to get started.

Hi Chester,

Well,Youtube is not my thing, at least I do not contemplate it in the beginning. I am a little shy, but maybe if I see traction I would definetely try out.

My idea at the moment is trying to promote a Clickbank product or from any other Website, problem is that all I saw is crap (Weightloss products and such, where competition is too high)

Nevertheless my idea is to look for a legit product (sort of) and try to build some traffic with with Pinterest, Instagram and Facebook and maybe buy some adds to boost it out.

I also wondering about to use a bridge page, what do you think? For example, Pinterest do not like Clickbank hoplinks, or at least when I try some they were flagged as spam :(

I came accross a page calles https://groovesell.com/ (no affiliation intended) where it seems I can make up to 3 pages for free.

So my questions are:

What do you think about Clickbank? Is there any other better sites?
What do you think about my idea of Pinterest, Instagram and Facebook? Would you try the ads of them? I have heard Facebook ads are expensive and maybe it is not worth it.
What do you think about a Bridge Page? Do it work better than a direct affiliate link?
what do you think about GrooveFunnels? Did you ever try it? Or better to pay for a domain and hosting and do it in WP?

Many many question, sorry! Hopefully you can help me out :)

Many thanks in advance :)

Well, about a month passed by and I have checked many threads with useful information but still haven't decided what to go for.

In the beginning I was interested in Clickbank affiliate thing, but I realise that it requires traffic and at the moment I have none.

I am building some Instagram pages but just because I like to investigate and learn how it works, engagement and such, but still and long journey to have decent traffic.

So now I really do not know what to do. I don't like to jump from thing to thing, I want to focus in some specific area.

I never had made a website, no experience with WP but I would like to experiment, too.

I was thinking to buy an already made website, and maybe start to practise from there.

Yesterday I was reading about some streaming pages for sale and I don't know it that would be a good idea or not, as I have no clue to monetize a site. But maybe I can start from there.

I was also reading about Amazon FBA and Ecommerce, but I have also read that margins are so tight that is difficult to be profitable in the long run.

I have no problem if I have to invest money. And I have no problem if I do not profit if at least I learn something.

Oh God, I don't know.

I know I have a long journey ahead, that is why I want to focus on something.

I have started to work again in the office and I have a 9 to 5 job, so my time is somehow limited but I would work hard for.

What do you think about buying an already made website? For example a streaming website and trying to monetize it. Would it be profitable? Or is this niche saturated?

Thank you.
