Idk. I’m a critical care nurse in nyc and saw so many cases of covid19 but never heard of this. I’m not even sure what type of covid pathology would lead up to this.

COVID-19 affects different people in different ways. Most infected people will develop mild to moderate illness and recover without hospitalization.

Most common symptoms:
fever
dry cough
tiredness

Less common symptoms:
aches and pains
sore throat
diarrhoea
conjunctivitis
headache
loss of taste or smell
a rash on skin, or discolouration of fingers or toes

Serious symptoms:
difficulty breathing or shortness of breath
chest pain or pressure
loss of speech or movement

a rash on skin, or discolouration of fingers or toes

which would explain what looks like a road map on my lower back
other than that, ive had non of the above

Exactly, Covid-19 affects the upper respiratory system directly. I am not sure if it can cause secondary symptoms like this without showing any primary symptoms. It's probably something else.

are you bleeding or something????????????????????????

Yea. It's a less common symptom. Some people have their skin turn red/lilac on their toes, fingers or have skin rashes like yours. I think, i read the first article about this a few weeks ago.

I don't really want to post pics, but if you want to know more about this; https://www.google.com/search?q=covid+19+skin+rashes

This looks like a skin allergy to me try and remember what thing you ate, because one of the products triggered it. Furthermore it’s a sheer coincidence that you had covid, I believe both are different and consult a skin specialist as there’re creams for this. Lastly take care and I would advise you to keep your distance from your wife and have her and others who came in contact with you tested. Take care

As someone linked before, it's not unknown that Covid-19 affects the skin. In fact, it's been a couple of cases that have gained a lot of publicity in the press recently. But also a study was done about skin reactions/symptoms, I think it was made in Italy or Spain.

Corona seem to be (potentially) affecting a lot of internal organs, which basically means that there can be hundreds of different symptoms. Since these organs are connected to basically all of our bodily functions, it can result in odd/non-common symptoms.

Although, skin conditions seem to be more on the common side, apart from the obvious symptoms like fever, cough etc.

I'm far from an expert, but what you have looks like Livedo. I think mostly older people get it. I could be wrong though, maybe it's not that.

*EDIT*

I Googled Livedo and Covid-19 and found this: https://www.dermatologytimes.com/coronavirus/skins-symptoms-observed-covid-19-patients

A new symptom is popping up in COVID-19 patients. The virus can reportedly affect not only the lungs, but other internal organs as well as the senses – and now dermatologists are observing skin reactions in patients with the disease.

These reactions include “dengue fever-like rash,” a “hives-like rash,” livedo reticularis, a “measles-like rash” and pernio located on the extremities (also known as “COVID toes”), according to an article from Yahoo Life.1

You work as a critical care nurse, but never heard of skin conditions related to Corona? Right..

At least you're ok @proxygo thats the main thing. I know they say that once you've had it you're very unlikely to get it again. However, relying on that assumption seems a bit like Russian roulette to me. You feeling lucky?

like fuck am i @davids355 - off for my blood test, if it comes back positive
we will no the rash was a side effect of c19. because i still feel good
fingers crossed i had a mild dose , but im not looking to have it again D

Dont jump into conclusion guys. Get the test results first.

And once more...like some doctors/scientists already said: Most people won't even show symptoms. I also think I had the virus. Had slight coughing and a weird feeling in my lungs, like something is inside, it disappeared a few days later and I didn't even go to the hospital. And this is were the huge scam starts: The most people don't even go to take the test. Therefore they are not registered as "tested positive". While at the same time they write on many death certificates that covid 19 is the cause of the death, while people actually died from cancer or even a car crash. Conclusions: way less positive tested people than there actually are + way more deaths than there actually are = fake mortality rate

Good luck with your test. Is your wife being tested as well?

This is rather interesting, as I've currently got a decent sized rash on the back of my leg that's popped up out of nowhere in the last couple of weeks. Not eaten or drunk anything different from usual. Same washing powder so can't think it's an allergy to that...might have to get mine checked out too. It's not irritated me or anything, I didn't even know it was there until my partner spotted it. Interesting.
