Starting My YouTube Journey

So I have decided to start a YouTube monetization journey this month.

The idea is very simple, basically all I need is to upload some videos with someone narrating a news article, and some related images. The subjects needs to be relevant to the moment, not old news or something not interesting for most users.

All the videos are in Portuguese, to make it more easy to reach audiences.

Nothing used has copyright, so as soon as I hit the YouTube requirements, I will enable monetization on the videos. I am also using Twitter to promote the videos.

Day 1: produced 3 videos, total of 235 views and 3 subscribers.

I will keep reporting on the progress. Set a deadline of 2 months to make it work. Let's see.

Wish you good luck in your journey. I will offer you to use google trends to get idea about your news. Use last 1 or 4 hours data and publish your video.

Here is another update.

I decided to focus more on celebrities and people that can reach more audience. So far, good results.

The YouTube realtime timeline is now more active than ever before.



Here is an example of a video. It is basically an Instagram stories with some video editing to make it more interesting (and long).

I Will post here if this new strategy works. Seems promising, let's see.

After almost 6 months, I logged in the account and for my suprise, there is still traffic being generated in the videos. Not much of course, but still give hopes.

But for now I have decided to focus on more viral videos and not much in celebrities videos. Here is an example:

How are you going to monetize these videos when you yourself dont own them ? and how do you outsource videos ?
