Fake domain registration details?

Hi,

i am going to register few domains with european countries extensions ( Central and Eastern Europe ). The thing is, for these domains extensions, WhoisGuard is not avaible. So im thinking about buying them with fake details ( name, adress etc. )

I read, the worst thing that can happend, if someone will claim the domain, they easily take that from me ( i am aiming for expired domains ). But if no one will claim that domain or specificaly report it, i should be ok?

Whats your experience with registration on fake details?

I just started fake registration 5 weeks ago. The domains are godaddy auctions and are listed on my real account, I then change the whois information whilst keeping the domains on my real account. I make up a random name and then use a real address that I find myself on Google.

The seperate random name and random address will never match a real person so I'm not concerned

No need to use fake details if you're using GoDaddy, they don't show domain name owners information on Whois, sites like namecheap show complete domain name owners information

About a few months ago, I lost my GoDaddy domain name details, username, email, I couldn't access my account, I asked them to help me get it back, they gave me a link to claim my domain by uploading my Id, and the name on the id must tally with the account name and country, thank God I used my real name, the gave me access to my domain within a couple of days

And mind it, if you use credit card that doesn't belongs to you, e.g virtual card, to buy domain name from GoDaddy, they will refund the money and delete your domain name within a week, most especially when the credit card billing details is not thesame as the country you're registering from

I use namecheap for register .net domains, and they provide free whoisguard. And it work well, never experience that namecheap will reweal my details in whois.

I will register godaddy account on my real name + adress + my real cc, thats not problem. Will use godaddy, but they didnt support some extensions that i want. So i will check for another options, if dont find any, use fake details.

Using GoDaddy with real info lol, you will get spammed in email within days.

Njal.la, flokinet.is does the trick, fake details? Always use TodayNic for that.

It is a bad idea because it would be very difficult to transfer domain in case of troubles with registrar.
You need a drop (a real person who will give his personal documents)

You can use Dynadot, they won't ask for ID verification or anything on transfer.
Internetbs.net also works if your main account is ID verified so you just use fake details on the country domains.

What's your threat model? If you're just worried about people coming to your home, you can get a virtual mailing address and virtual phone number and use that.

But your name will still be there. So if you're hosting dirt on Trump, Putin and Xi, they can still trace it back to you.

Oh and OP, and if you're going to host non-EU friendly material, consider offshore hosting? Like... Russian hosting? Just saying
