Why are web development job offers so ridiculous ?

I'm tired of working alone with no social interactions that's why I'm looking for front end developer job. As I heard from my friend who is a senior developer. He said if you applied as a fresher front end developer I dont need backend knowledge and the company will not let me code anything related to backend.

That's senior developer's job. I only need a few skills (html, css3, boostrap, js) the most important one is PSD to HTML, but when I see their job requirements. (no matter what positions, intern, fresher, junior, senior)
They're like:
3 years experiences, html, css3, boostrap, jquery, angular, reactjs, nodejs, mongodb... etc the list goes on.

As a fresher, Should my position really need these extra backend skills ? and Should I apply for these offers ?. Thanks.

Apply for sure, but mention that you dont know backend. A Lot of jobs where i apply had ridicolous requirements, but if they didnt find anyone who “knows everything”, they hire you.

Lol this is a thing I have noticed as well. I believe this is because the HRs in most cases do not know what they are looking for. I have even seen JDs having title that they need a JS developer and in the description they say the candidate must be well versed in Java. I was like, wtf?

You will still get better requirements from many companies. Ignore those who do not know what they're talking about.

P.s., jquery, alngularjs, css3 etc are frontend related nevertheless.

It's more likely that the JD you saw was copied from another source. This happens a lot with contract staffing, where you deal with a staffing agency that acts as an intermediary between you and the company looking to hire front end devs.

Because expectations of the company is actually getting fullfilled. Many freshers are ready to work at very low salary with those knowledge.

Yeah, I know, Some people say jquery is quie outdated, instead of angular I'm focusing on ReactJs, but what freak me out is the experience and the backend knowledge.

Knowledge on how the backend connects with the frontend is good to have (e.g, ajax calls, security tokens, request methods etc), but knowledge of backend itself is never necessary for the job you are looking for. Whoever told you jquery is outdated, is an idiot. If you want to focus on reactjs or angular, it is not a bad idea atall. You could still develop websites without those.

Yeah, but they will scared shit out of freshers like me, and the people actually have all those kills do they really apply for the position ?. I mean for all of those skills, They's looking for a full stack web developer.

They do, here in india for computer operator job which requires only typing they are asking for college graduate. The job will fetch monthly $200 for an experience person.

Man, $200 for experience person ?, may they're not that good. Here's in Viet Nam, the living standard is the same with India. $200 for fresher, $300-$400 for junior. For experience developers the salary will be up to $1000- $1500.

I was talking about computer operator / data entry operator.

For experience php developer they can get $30k per annum. Average is around 1k monthly.

Because people who write job specs are kinda silly. They list skills specific for full stack developers on a junior front end developer job position. Just contact companies, send them your CV and make sure you're specific in the CV about your actual skills. Also hit up people especially talent seekers and HR people on LinkedIn.
