Hello guys, I have 2 months old website and for some reason it doesn't rank anywhere. The site is indexed but not ranking for any keyword even on 10 page of google. I'm trying to rank homepage with 2500 words of content. I have 1800 backlinks from 30 domains, DR is 12. 70% of the links are pbn sites and 50% homepage. Competitors using pbn links from relevant niches. Niche is under dating with 5000 monthly searches from USA. It's medium difficulty score. If i will rank on first page on top 3 I can make anywhere from 500-1000$ per month. I spent $200 for the backlinks so far. The problem is after 2 months I don't see anything positive to make me a little be happy.

Very difficult to tell this way, its also strange, with all those links you should have been in anywhere on search.

Use semrush free account and upliad the statistics here by hiding the url, this may help better to understand the problem

Mmm, and how do you think google views a site that's still sand boxed, and I presume very little traffic get 1800 links in two months?

Think about it!

Are you using search console? It's totally free and you can check if you are truly not ranking for anything

1) spammy Backlinks 2) possible diffcult keywords 3) new websites take a lot of time to rank 4) add quality backlinks and choose quality over quantity go for permenant home page pbns, guest posts etc

Hello guys, I have 2 months old website and for some reason it doesn't rank anywhere.

Welcome to SEO.

Proceed with your gameplan and you'll see 2-3 bumps in rankings along the way. The first one is gonna get you on the map (pages 2-10), the second bump will get you close to good numbers, and the third one is gonna get you to the top, if everything goes well.

1st bump: 2-3 months

2nd bump: 3-6 months

3rd bump: 6+ months

My personal experience. Links don't matter a lot at the start because they need time. The older the link, the better. When I started my first real SEO project, I stopped building links after 6 months because I couldn't understand why am I on page 5+ with better links and better content than a competitor that was dominating the niche. Stopped building links completely and got a huge bump after 2-3 months (about 7 months after the site launch). Was dominating the niche for the next 2 years without a sweat.

You have some keywords in top 100 as per the webmaster, create some more links and wait, 2 months is very early for any meaningful result.

If you select the date range to yesterday or last week you will see the position of some keywords you are ranking. You should follow the advice from other users, creating so many links with a new website it's definitely a bad move and risky

I have only 30 links but don't know why ahrefs show 1800.
Why last 7 days show only 2 keywords ranking? Does that means the other keywords doesnt ranking anymore?

It may be from the link seller you have bought, check those links, are they spam, porn, from the same domain or anything suspicious

The problem is on last 3 months search console shows i rank for lots of keywords but when i click on last 7 days it shows only 2 keywords ranking, is that normal or not?

Hi @Unrealworld - I think, in my humble opinion, 2 months to see ranking, especially with the current/recent update, is not much time at all. This is especially so in a highly competitive niche such as 'dating' even with moderate keyword difficulty.

Just from my own experience, when sites are taken a while to move or even appear, I focus on a popping on some articles during the weeks/months that I am waiting to try an catch some Long Tails and then start to build on the social media side of things more.

When things take time to rank I tend not to worry too much if I have done proper onsite and offsite SEO and added good (original) content as it gives me an opportunity to focus on building things up naturally - which, of course, takes much longer than 2 months (more than 6 in my experience sometimes and longer).

It looks like you are doing a great job monitoring things and keeping an eye on keywords an all, so I would just keep motivated and focused. Track and stack! :-)

Keep adding content regularly.
Slow down the backlink creation.
Give it some time.
Make sure to get a bit of traction from social media.

For some reason every hour backlinks increasing based Ahrefs. Not referring domains but total backlinks. A few days ago exchanged 8 links from sites in my niche on footer section and then from 100 backlinks it went to 1900+
