Google Crawling / Indexing Issues [Starting 13 May]

Hey guys,

There have been reports here that there are issues with Google crawling / indexing new articles or updated pages - see thread in Google Releasing a Large Update Today

This issue occurs when submitting a link to GSC for crawl and indexing. Although the indexing request has been made, the SERPS don't reflect new articles or changes.

Noticed this occuring since yesterday 13 May.

Hi, I have the same problem with my site, it seems that Google does not index my new articles. However, where do you get the information that it will launch an update today?

There are 3 same threads every single day about this topic.

Yes, Google has been slow the past month. No, you can't do shit about it.

I have 200+ articles waiting to be indexed for over a month. 750+ referring domains taken into account for over a month.

What can I do about it?

Absolutely nothing.

it seems to be a constant at this moment across all google platforms. They even stopped posting reviews and photos to Google my business and came out stating that this was because of reduced staffing and couldn't validate. They might have shut some areas of the business of in the short terms to deal with other things. However i did notice that at 1AM this morning all my GMB reviews that have been posted over the past week showed up all at the same time
